Hardly, the veronicas version on top of sounding phone in is a complete and utter rip on this song. Usually artists like to put thier own spin on original material but thier cover is banal at best. The original is leaps and bounds better in every way,
I'll have to disagree with you for calling this song sucks compared to The Veronicas' cover, because IMO, The Vs covers this song EXACTLY how it is, including how Tracy Bonham sings it!
In other word: if The Vs' version sounds good, it's 'cause the ori's already good.

I guess you'd heard the cover version first before you hearing this original one, thus you can't help but thinking that it was Tracy who covers The Veronica.

it's about the facade of caring many parents put up when their kids leave the house for good. the mother asks how the daughter is doing (because it's what mothers are supposed to do) and takes the "everything's fine" answer instead of reading deeper to the true "i'm hungry i'm dirty i'm losing my mind"

i started vocal tuition at 6 by the time i was 21 i fell inlove with Tracey Bonham, her voice is close to vocal perfection in my opinion and so i learnt how to singscream, there a few women who can pull this off accurately, beautifully raw and full of energizing power, the legend herself, Janis Joplin,Bjork, a little darker but still so talented the beautiful Brody Dalle from the latest Spinerettes and the now gone Distillers, thankyou for the training

does anyone remember the video when the girl standing on the chair playing the guitar on something (invisible)keeps knocking the crap out of her but she keeps getting up? sounds crazy I know but I'd really like to see it again...and i have no idea of the the name of the the song or the chick who was getting manhandled by this "THING" that obviously didn't like what she was playing...HELP
