those have nothing to do with the greek occupation. when greek state came to here the land legally belonged to the ottoman empire, and as a foreign state greece occupied it. According to the international law what the greek state did between 1920-1922 was an "occupation". In 1820 Athens also "legally" belonged to the Ottoman Empire, it had the right to protect it. But on 1920-1922 the land wasn't Greece's. Politics is not a childish thing like you said, there are laws and regulations.
