It might not damage your gums or your teeth, but again it depends on the way your mouth is built. I've got a 4g BB in my tongue, a 14G labret in my lower lip, and also in my 'medusa' and none of them have had ill effects on my teeth or gums to the suprise of my dentist in the 3+ years that I have had them. But again, go talk to your piercer. He will be able to check out your mouth and tell you whether your suited for the piercings or not.

yes they will be 'permanent' to an extent if you do them with microdermals, but your back is a high impact and high movement area.Pressure when you sleep, and sit and lean against your back will eventually either tear them out or make them start to reject. They wont last long and you have to remember with microdermals that they go in like a piercing but they require a scalpel to be removed because the tissue grows through and around the pins so you will have some scars afterwards.
I had my clevage pierced, it only lasted bout 10 months, my body rejected it and it started to grow out, i ended up taking it out, all i have now is a scar, but hey i keep on getting them, im addicted lols
You don't even leave them in for 1 month, thats stupid and dangerous. Most people keep them in for a few days tops, if they have to display them for more than one day.

i've had arm corsets down my arm twice, they onli last like 8 months.
N yeah, they're prone to infection and VERY painfull if not looked after.
They also leave nasty scars.
I don't regret gettin them done but anyone considering them should think deeply about it first.
