I've been looking for a JTM45 style amp for quite a while.I've been on the fence between a Metro Kit, Wallace JTM 45 and a Cornell JTM45/50.Your clips along with another on Youtube has convinced me that the Cornell is the amp for me.That's exactly what I'm searching for.The Cornell seems sweeter and more complex than the other clones I've heard.Your tone and playing sound superb.
Are you playing straight into the plexi with no tube screamer etc? No master volume? Could you tell me, do you think you 15w power setting would be ok for small pub gigs, Mic'd up? Also does the 50w power setting break nicely with a tube screamer or simular pedal? Cheers. Great sound and nice playing!
There is a bit Landgraff LDO to give more hair. 12w setting is ok for small pub, nice crunch w/ low volume. With 50w setting it start break about 10 a clock with humbuckers, great amp!
Just tried the plexi 7 at the weekend, what a beasty little amp! Im probably a bit different to most cornell owners (i bought it buy the way!) in that im heavy rock player first, metaller second, blueser third :p
