can i ask something mr. marshalls intelligents or who was designing this tracks? WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU PUTTING THERE A CONCRETE WALL INSTEAD OF SOMETHING MORE SAFER?!
i dont understand this toniiii9 why have you put the name 24 hours before senna's death, dont you think thats a bit brash seen as ratzenberger died on the saturday
@shaunwhite0 Simply ignorant. Accidents DO happen, and they can happen ANYWHERE. Australia in the last 5 years have lost 2 drivers (that i know of) One in Adelaide and one at Bathurst. Sadly, racing IS dangerous and while every precaution is taken, sometimes these things happen....
@Diptwankynard maybe motorsports are dangerous, but i can truly tell you that floorball, soccer and other sports with balls, have a higher grade of injuries
Imagine that the one of the darkest weekends in motorsport history could be the best thing to happend with car saftey development. After this they really started to focus on drivers and marsalls saftey....
After rubens accident on friday ,then rolands on saturday, some one up there should of made a call .This was a very very sad weekend for all watching but who knew that there was going to be 1 more . R.I.P, ROLAND , ARTON
So sad..Rubens accident was so brutal he swallowed his tongue & very nearly suffocated..had in not been for the quick actions of the doctors there would have been 2 Brazilians killed that terrible weekend at Imola...(& an Austrian of coarse)..RIP Roland & Ayrton..so sad & very moving when an Austrian flag was pulled from Senna's cockpit..(that he was intending to wave if he'd won in honour of Ratzenburger)...Ayrton 'did not' want to race that day..he was scared..he knew...
I stand by statement about Roland- it comes from within F1 community from someone v close to top. How anyone who has never driven F1 car can say Senna was driver error when Berger says not.
Somehow it seems like an obligation to remember that terrible weekend, but it is painful, especially when you consider the aspects that BillyPoster brings to mind. To contemplate the fact that mere fractions of seconds appear to play with the fate of our heroes and loved ones is like a shard of thought where we might almost will impossible outcomes and history into being.
I heard from a source v close to the top that Rolands front wing was not secured properly and failed as a result. The mechanic responsible fled the scene.
Sennas death was not driver error- the telemetry shows a sudden drop in steering as senna looks down- the theory is his steering column part collapsed onto his lap, he realigns the column and almost manages to get the car around tamborello before the weld/column gives out- a split second more and he would have survived....
fine, a series of mechanical failures.... caused by....? they cant ALL be coincidental, there has to be some relation between them all
either the circuit was too bumpy, OR there wasnt enough run off area, OR the cars just carried too much speed through their first sector on the old layout
hey pena, i have the full 2nd qualifying session from Imola, Eurosport coverage, but i dont know to cut them into parts and more than likely FOM will take it down
Watching this footage is so weird...a moment forever frozen in time its strange how you can replay this footage over and over, yet we know whats going to happen, and all the while Ayrton was going about his day completely unaware of his passing, its just so hard to take in and comprehend...I think the race should have been stopped that weekend, instead of paying respect to Roland they contiuned as though nothing had ever happened, which is so so wrong! It makes me so angry how this was ignored!
Yay less than a day to go!

to me as a detective it seems ayrton tried to find out how he could crash the same style next day.
he wanted to make sure that he's going to die.
be aware that i have a degree and i am a professional detective.

it is not a driver eror, and the transfer to see that his wing that is flying up air entering the bend, why some talking nonsense.
toniiii9 2 years ago
But it was said, the wing flew off was caused by Roland by going off lap before at Variante Alta(if or not,is irelevant however)

It was clearly driver error, I dont understand why people want to say otherwise.
