I would like to know the name of the brain-dead CBS executive who decided not to include this amazing performance on the "Elvis In Concert" television special so I can strike him now and forever from my Christmas card list.

How on earth could you NOT have included this clip? Why showcase the horrible versions of "Jailhouse Rock" and some of the other classics when they were so badly performed? Perhaps if we'd have see more of this stuff the show would've been more fondly recalled.

Elvis loved singing this song. You can always tell it was a favorite of his, especially the bridge which he always gets into. This shows off his terrific voice and like everyone here says, I agree, it should have been included in the show. He just soars on this one! Watch him look at the Sweets for approval, especially after he hits a high note. Even after all these years, yes, it still hurts. - JG

Lots of other good performances were also overlooked in that Special: Its Now or Never, And I love You So, Unchained Melody, Fairytale. It would be good to see a reissue with new editing but I guess that will never happen.

A lot of people thought he was going to lose it on stage after the Aloha From Hawaii Concerts and his Divorce. But he still came on strong even to the end 4 years later.
