I never had the guts to build a bowl. After watching your video I converted my mini to a bowl. Thanks for the inspiration and the video which I learned a ton from. THANK YOU!
omg majour props bro thats the best bowl ever.good work.how much did it cost ya's all up? i'm building a concrete P shaped bowl at the moment its gunna cost lots haha cheers bro, peace
THats a sweet ramp, done a nice build & That Thumb..... looks lil like my finger after it got caugh tin me disc brake on my Downhilll bike...& fuck me didnt it hurt, almost 12 months later still cant feel the tip
Hey! I think I bought a used car from one of the guys in your video. Great ride man, but he left a severed deer quarter and a pack of Crayola markers in the trunk. I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep the markers but if he wants the deer leg let me know. I already colored it if that makes any difference...well let me know.
we took our coping to a metal shop in St. Paul to have it professionally "roll" bent. It really helps to have someone in your crew who knows autocad or is mathematically inclined. This is not me. You need to find a shop that does "roll bending" of pipe. Know what your radius is at the top of the ramp and keep in mind the outer-diameter of your coping. This should get you started. Again, find someone good at math or who can plug the right numbers into autocad and you are in business.
Somewhere around that figure. There's a bunch of us and every few days someone would show up with a fresh pile of lumber to keep us moving. We never really did a finally tally to see how much we spent and we didn't think about it while we were building it. We were all a little broke for awhile but now we have a killer ramp to ride with our friends whenever we want, so there you go! I was there at 1am just last night.

how did you know what curve to cut into he 2x4 on the curved part and how did u get the copying to bend?
thursday13039 3 years ago
u can either eyeball it or use trigonomtry
for the coping you would have to order it(unless u have a matal shop)
