  • wow, it was like that video only contained useful, well thought out and clearly explained information, with a excellent example of it put to use at the end...Brilliant!

  • Thanks so much!!

  • Thanks for the quick video. Was that a 15 or 30 degree grid you had on there?

  • @charliebakerphoto 30 degree grid.

  • may I ask what brand your beauty dish is.?

  • @lalalaina4life You can! It is a Paul C. Buff 22" Bright White Dish.

  • yeah I like the video... I just wanted to ask what kind of lighting equipment you used? (the one with the honey comb) did you provide another light (low contrast light) to illuminate the whole studio?.... I'm looking forward for your answers... thanks a bunch

  • @TheHabihan The Photogenic Strobe that you see in the video is the only light used until the very end when I walk closer to the camera. At that point there is another light on camera right that is there only ofr the purpose of lighting me for the video - it had no impact on the still frames.

  • @PhotoJoeEdelman ... I see... so it's only one light...

about the photogenic strobe, is it a flash unit or a continuous light?

  • @TheHabihan Seriously??? It is a strobe - which means it is a flash. If you are trying to figure out how I lit the video.... it is light with the modeling light from the strobe and as I move closer to the camera there is a light on the right side (out of camera range) to illuminate me while I am talking
