nice paint choice on the gas tanks and rear rack on the back of the rig. Its nice to see some gritty and somewhat "scuffed " finish, very clean at the same time on all the details

It's great but there to peices u forgot to color. Those 2 are side peices under some lights that are under the main chest peice that should be colored blue.

I suggest Getting some gloss varnish (The GW one) and Applying it to the matte parts using a brush.. I Did it to mine and it looks Much better!

I have a final battle jazz. Customized him to look dirtier and more damaged. Yeah I made the plastic glass on the windows looked cracked, and I made burn looks and scratches on him. Man I wanna make a vid of him now!

What paint did you use? I use Testors, but I don't know if that's good enough. One thing wrong with your's, you painted Primes taller antennas wrong.  Where you have the silver, it should be blue and where it is blue, it should be silver.

The colour is very durable, I've transformed it back and forth quite a few times and there are no signs of wear. The paints are designed to go on plastic, I'm really happy with them! So do you guys reckon if I did more and put them on ebay people would buy them? These are the first paints I've ever done, hoping I can only get better!

Hope that helps! I only used 6 colours in all - silver, black, red, blue, gold and white. If you search painting transformers or similar, there are much better tutorials out there!

I wasn't planning on doing any more, I just like Optimus and thought the paint job was rubbish so I decided to paint him!

Regarding how I did it - I used brush paints, cheap to get. I used humbrol, as I couldn't get testors, which is what I think they use in the US. For every bit of grey that would be silver I covered it in black, and made sure that there was no grey left especially at the back/deepest. Then when that dried I painted the silver on, with not much on the brush. This meant that the silver didn't go deep, so that the black was still visible on the deeper bits.
