Those who say that the Messiah, son of Mary, is the third of three are unbelievers. There is no god but the One God. (Surat al-Ma'ida, 5:73) (I'm getting sick of repeating myself)
The statement, "Those who say that the Messiah, son of Mary, is the third of three are unbelievers", illustrates a fundamental misunderstanding and consequently, misrepresentation of the doctrine of the trinity.
The doctrine of the Trinity is this: There is one eternal being of God, indivisible and infinite. This one being of God is shared by three co-equal, co-eternal persons, the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. The distinction between "being" and "person" is important.
@Keruaran I believe and know for 100% fact that the Holy Quran word for word is the word of G-d sent through the Angel Gabriel to Prophet Mohammed pbuh. Although there is a passage in the Holy Quran that states "those of the people of the book (ie Christians and Jews) who do rightous deeds will be admitted into Paradise" I strongly doubt Trinitarians are among them. Trinitarians strongly offend true g-d ( Ehad Adonai Elohai) as is stated in the Holy Quran, they have also offended Jesus and Mary.
Unsurprisingly, as is common with Muslims, you fail to address the real doctrine of the trinity at all.
If your "word of G-d" does not show accurate comprehension of the Christian doctrine of the trinity (which was well known hundreds of years before Mohammed was born), then it either isn't the "word of G-d" and a fraud or your "G-d" is suffering from Alzheimer's and is simply oblivious to what Christians actually believe.
Does your "g-d" remember what he's offended about?
@Keruaran (I hope your sarcasm takes you straight to hell lol.) my Lord G-d is the living G-d that never dies neither is my G-d confused, he is infallable, he has no begining and no end,he has no mother and no son, he is the G-d of Moses, Mohammed and Jesus "Pbuthem" and the creator of all things. ps your Gospels are mere commentary by mortal men comentary that has been very distorted. I think I know what the problem is you might miss your pig butties or obviously you dont like to be wrong!!!.
@ANGELMICHAEL69 Since this is so very difficult for you to grasp I'll reiterate: Your infallible God is so infallible he doesn't seem to know what Christians believe. Furthermore, the Quran you believe is perfect says that the law, the prophets and the gospels are the word of God (2:87, 3:3, 5:46, 4:163) and that the word of God cannot be altered (6:34, 6:115, 10:64). And you still can't address the actual doctrine of the trinity. You and Allah just lurch from one blunder to the next!!
@ANGELMICHAEL69 You can't even begin to address the Christian doctrine of the trinity and now you're trying to merely dismiss it. Mohammed's misunderstanding of the trinity clearly calls into question the divine inspiration of his recitations. This represents a serious challenge to your faith in the words of Mohammed. If there is an answer, you need to find it. If there isn't, you have believed a lie. Yet you dismiss this a crucial issue as "petty", and the best you can do is try and ignore it.
@Keruaran The gospels you follow are not a faith but a made up faith ie "not G-ds will" Jesus himself only corrected the Jews in the lack of Kavanah he never said to stop practicing the Torah hence Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or....
In response to "thewayofthesalaf"'s comment, there IS infact reference to the Trinity in the Old Testament. All throughout the OT we see God being described in a plural form. Genesis 1:26- And God said, "Let us make man in our image..." here we see a plural form being used. Also, with the destruction of the Tower of Babel, Genesis 11:7 states "Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language." Both times we see God himself talking about multiple aspects revealing himself.
Its refreshing to hear him say Jesus is not the Father and at the same time I do see how a muslim particularly one who was never a Christian may be confused by this. I wonder if he will talk about the meaning of oneness. Man insists on trying to compare human version of oneness to that of God and its not the same thing. God is so complexed that when we give recognition to his many aspects it seems blasphemous to others and this contributes to some of the division among us. Christ be wtih all.
Agreed because as the bible clearly states and even gnostic texts Jesus is not a creation. His flesh was vunerable to the laws of physics of course but HE is pre- existent and the auto genes which means we are all created through him and from him. God has many aspects and he reflected certain aspects of himself in this way.

The christians always lie to prove there point. The christians can never beat a MUSLIM in a debate. Muslims always wins. Christianity is weak and christians are blind to see that. Jesus is not God you stupid christians!
NWT translation is not the only translation that says "give obeisance" or "reverence" or "respect."
If Jesus is god, than you(Trinitarians) claim that God has a God, In Revelation Christ is talking to the Apostle John and giving him the vision and Jesus states VERY clearly 4 times 'my God.' Look it up if you dont believe. this is one example of him refering to having a god. Christian faith is Monotheism. If you say Jesus is God then you must be saying the words out of his mouth are a very lie.
You say that Jesus is God and yet you claim that there is only One God. At the same time that he is God, God is God and whatever else you have added from there. So there is three and they are all in one? Which one is it? One? Three? both? God did not make things so confusing for us. Lets face it there is not another religion on earth that is truly Monothesistic except for islam.
Muslims believe that the bible and the Torah were originally revealed to Jesus and Moses. So muslims do not disbelieve in these prophets. As a matter of fact it is a requirement of islam (to believe in them all). The muslim belief, however, is that these scriptures were tainted by man. Check it out. Even biblical scholars have to admit there there are many additions and deletions. Does God make mistakes?
One means ONe (there is no confusion about it). The belief of the muslim is that the greatest sin is polytheism (ascribing partners to God). If we all agree that there is one God the next question is, Does not he deserve to be worshipped alone? WHat was the first comandment (of ten)?
Lets face it. We can give each other good advice now, however, on the day of Judgement we will all stand in front of the One who created the Heavens and the Earth. Will you be standing in front of Jesus? Will he Judge on that day? NO!!! That Day will be for God alone.
Ask and find out about the mistakes in the bible and Torah. If you find that truly there is just one addition or deletion to it. It is imperfect and can not be ascribed to God( who makes no mistakes).
OH you misunderstand what they are saying when they use the term "3 in 1" and even that is quite misleading.. 3 as in aspects. Jesus was just another way in which the holy spirit is revealed. If you think of Gods wholeness in comparison to an earthly beings wholeness then of course it would never make sense. God is not containable so you can't use your physical rules on God. Actually all consciousness is uncontainable but our error keeps us under this impression and thats all we see is material.
I Have derived the following questions from your last statement: First If we agree that God is one why the number #3? Why not 4 or 5 or 100000? Next, You admit that "even that is quite misleading."(regarding the trinity). When did this concept of "the trinity" come into existence? Why was there not a trinity "in the old testament"? Why would God make things confusing for us (epecially when this would cause the people ot disbelieve more than believe)?
We agree on one thing (so far). There is nothing like God (so he can not be conceived of like the rest of the creation). Allah (God) says in the Quran (What can be translated as), "Say He is Allah: The One and Only. Allah, The Eternal, Absolute: He Begetteth not, nor is He Begoten: and there is none like unto Him
Note that the word begotten means "give birth to." and also note that "there is none like unto him" means that there is not one thing in the creation that can be compared to him.
you may ask yourself, what is his point? My point is that this is the true concept of Monotheism that was found in the Old testatment and in the original version of the bible when it was sent to Jesus.
Another thing that I personally can not conceive of is why would anybody base everything (their life and the hereafter) on a book that is at all flawed? If you are sincere than go and find out if the books that you are reading are truly "Holy" meaning perfect. Is that the case?
The Holy Quran is still the same Quran that was revealed to Muhammad. Have you truly gone and read what it contains? Is not it worth at least taking an honest look into it? Monotheism is the goal here.
The way toward clarity is experience, not books, this becomes dogmatic without the holy spirit. So many scriptures get lost in translation because the translator only understands literally and not spiritually. I can tell you how an apple tastes but you will never understand until you take a bite. Fundamentalism feeds off the arrogance of human logic and destines man for finite things and failure. The truth which is eternal can only be found through awareness. The only way there is through Jesus.
We are only pointing out aspects...3 of them and at the same time there is so much more..these are main aspects of his being that have been revealed to man which we are quite blind and need a lot of talking to. Don't get caught on numbers. God is whole and that is that. I mean the way some say it is misleading to non christians. Don't worry about the trinity either because it is a referecne world to his complexity and the How Christ is one with the Father. God doesn't confuse us we confuse us.
If Jesus is 100% God then he would know the day and the hour. Also It is clear in scripture that Jesus has a God who's will he does, he also submits himself to his God and Father. see 1Cor 15:24-28
It is funny how James talks down to people like he's so much better and smarter than them. I've seen this in numerous debates by him. He acts like he's explained his theories so clear that it's absurd to keep questioning the so called facts.
I'm wondering if this Idiot James really believes that Jesus said Ego Eimi and other Greek sayings. Does he really believe that Jesus spoke Greek? The fact is that they do not know what Jesus said because they do not have Jesus' words in Aramaic or Hebrew. Why would the Disciples write Jesus' words in Greek knowing full well that the purity of his words would fade in translation? Why are there no Hebrew or Aramaic gospels of Jesus?
He tries to argue that we are all beings but we are different persons. so is he saying that we are all the same being also? This is what happens when Christians try to explain the trinity, they put their feet in their mouths, and he's right, we don't get the Christian belief, because you are not Monotheists, you are polytheists.
I hate how these Biblical "scholars" try to pronounce Arabic words. Then he says that he (James) doubts Muhammad even read two lines of the new Testament, and this only proves Muhammads was given revelation.
I think that it's pretty much suicide to have a debate with a Christian on whether or not the Bible teaches that Jesus is God. James White, despite the several errors he makes in his opening presentation, pretty much won the debate already when he gave numerous New Testament references to back up the textual proof that the Bible does teach the deity of Jesus. However, on the flip side, while James does give a great opening presentation, the errors he makes are deadly if exposed.
James did make several mistakes for example he said Christ is the creator..come on didnt he himself say " I can of my owm self of do NOTHING " .. I believe Jalal nailed him so hard
Actually, I'm talking about how James tries to go to the Tanakh (Old Testament) to and connect references from there to the New Testament in his attempt to validate Christianity. Christians will use verses from the Book of Isaiah (e.g. 7:14, 9:6, 53:10) as evidence for prophecy of Jesus in the Tanakh. James also makes the error of trying to equate Ego Eimi with YHWH, and I find John 8:58 to especially to be a disaster. The Greek synonyms for YHWH are Kurios (Lord) and Ho On (The Being).
Trinity? What the hell? Trinity dosnt exist anywhere any in the Bible.
The only verse the talks about the Trinity in the Bible is [1 John 5:7].
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." [1 John 5:7] (KJV)
This verse, is the only verse in the WHOLE! Bible, clearly talks about the Trinity. You can find this verse in the KJV, but you wont find it in the NASB. Because this verse is fabrication.
He explains it in the following parts. Teh doctrine of the trinity is one being that is God is shared amongst three co-equal and co-eternal persons. We are both humnan beings, but we are not the same person. I hope that clears that up.
What's funny is you flaunting your Pseudo-knowledge and making the assertion that the doctrine of the trinity depends on a single verse.Matt.28:19 is a start.;-)
So? Islam's creed is to say "There is no God but God, and Mohammed is the messanger of God". Just Because Mohammeds name mentioned that dosnt make him a God.
Just because Jesus name mentioned in the babtizing that dosnt make him a God.
Breaking News...Islamic interpretation or understanding is irrelevant when discussing Christian Doctrine. And like most you missed the crux of this passage, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit share a Name.Singular.
WTF. how that contributed to what I said. I said nothing about formulation of Trinity. I was talking about when when Jesus talks about being one with God.
Also, I already knew that the Doctrine of the Trinity was made up by man, not God.
Thier are many people going through life without knowing the creator of Heaven and Earth...

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"
[Matthew 28:19](New International Version)
So? Islam's creed is to say "There is no God but God, and Mohammed is the messanger of God". Just Because Mohammeds name mentioned that dosnt make him a God.
Just because Jesus name mentioned in the babtizing that dosnt make him a God.

"...So? Islam's creed is to say..."
Breaking News...Islamic interpretation or understanding is irrelevant when discussing Christian Doctrine. And like most you missed the crux of this passage, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit share a Name.Singular.

we all know the Trinity was formulated by Romans...
Jesus has never spoken a word for christians. You have to go back to Roman scribes for you info LOL

One means unity, not body. Just like a married couple. They are one in unity, not in body.

What...you can't be serious. The christian doctrine of the trinity formulated by the persecuting pagan romans. That makes a lot of sense. *smh*

WTF. how that contributed to what I said. I said nothing about formulation of Trinity. I was talking about when when Jesus talks about being one with God.
Also, I already knew that the Doctrine of the Trinity was made up by man, not God.
