I'm writing a story which takes place in South Carolina about the American Revolution... However, I've never been there (I'm in NE) and am unable to go anytime soon.
If anyone would be so kind as to post a video or pictures of anywhere out in the country-lakes, streams, meadows, country roads, trees, swamps, etc.-I would be thankful in the extreme!!!
Anywhere in the state is great: Ocean Plains, Piedmont, and Blue Ridge mountains-please designate which is which and what is what.
The restoration playwright George Farquhar used Over the Hills and Far Away, a well-known tune of his time, for his play "The Recruiting Officer" in 1706. John Tams plays a modernized version in the Sharpe TV series .
good singing mates. sorry but the highlanders on the other bus. i belong with the 42nd highlanders, but i was was with the 4th NJV loyalists at this event. the colonials are so disorganized compared to the British.
