So i replay ds2 atm and i kinda came to see that its more like an rpg with a rts engine which limits the rpg fun level i could get. So someone please tell me if ds3 is better in this matter. It seems Mr Taylor is more into supreme commander rts games.

This is weird. When I played this part, it ended after his sword broke. I didn't get to fight him again it just started over again but at a much harder difficulty. Or did you have to play this in the harder modes to get here? Because i quit after beating the first try with my hero being at level 56.

@xreggiex i really wanted ds3 to be more like the first ones because thats what made them great. However dragon age was really console first and i think the second one is slightly better since you can control fights and not rely on random crits. Either way DS3 = 8.5 and DA2 = 9.1

Hopefully i can give diablo 3 a 10.

@MrFox1231 Diablo 3 is not being directly ported to PS3. The PS3 version may take far longer to be released, or even never if they decide to scrap it. They have to make many changes for the game to work on PS3. They refuse to to a dirty and quick port. I'm going to be my money that it won't be out for PS3 untill at least half a year after the PC and Mac release.

I can't wait for Dungeon Siege 3 too, I love the series, I finished the first two games multiple times, and even Legends of Aranna, the expansion of the first game. There's a new game plus for this game and I think I went level 70+ in the 2nd play through. The equipments and skills management could get tedious and take some time but I love it :].

For those who care the story is always there in the journal to read, and there's voice acting for dialogues, but I just skipped through them.

SPOILER ALERT: (User discretion is advised)

you meet him earlier in the game, he helps you with some stuff, he basically helps you gather the pieces of the aegis of life (that shield you saw) which you then reforge, embedding Drevins amulet (the blue haired elf you journey with at the start) into the centre of the shield to add extra durability. Then the "Undead Guy" arrives, takes the shield from you and gives it to valdis, then pretty much what you saw from there.

At times I got a bit irritated with Dungeon Siege. Haven't played it in year, but I'm looking forward to DS3. It was a bit tedious with all the enemies, sometimes. I remember, I'd just wake up because I died at a portal and I'd be swarmed with these little enemies in the tropical areas. x_x

@HarmonyAndChaos It also can be easily done with any class in Veteran mode. In Elite, however, it's a nightmare to go solo. Might be doable with some classes though: a defender (shield user) with a couple of levels in ranged for the Survival skill (magic resistance and potion harvest) and maybe Dodge in later levels, if you're playing the original; or a nature mage with 8 levels in meelee for the huge fist of stone defense bonus (based on intelligence - lolmage), if you're playing Broken World.

lol valdis is the most weak boss i ever fighted in all modes. Elite was the only one that bored me to death because of his hp xD.

but it was nice seeing the sword breaking still it continues to live after that lol..I just have one question i never knew how to get the last pet ,all my party was just pets but i never knew where to find the quest for the last one.

This game was awesome Hack & Slash game, but it suffers from that low difficulty. Mercenary levels are the only ones that gives at least a moderate challenge, but veteran and elite levels are just so easy.

They should have added the same system like in original DS, chance to change the difficulty level any time.

(Now I'm speaking of full party difficulty.)

I think I should try to get futher into the game with 1-2 character parties, and try difficulty with them. :)

you can get up to 4 players in mercenary mode, 5 in veteran and 6 in elite. Just go to an inn on any town and purchase additional spots.

In gane you have 3 difficult levels. On first level (when you walking game first time) you have only 4 members (you buy 4 place in the team on barman in each of city). On the second lvl difficulity you can have only 5 members and the last lvl 6.

best thing to do to level up the fastest... don't recruit any players, only the little minions, they dont' get exp so you get it alllll, just keep feeding them certain items to boost their stats and you will have an unstoppable army

If you mean the 4 stones you have to turn to get the lift to come up , the order is on the floor as you enter the crypt. But from memory it is Dead tree, closed eye, open eye, Live tree.

alright i have a cheat code to go into god mode but your mana till depleatable put in +drlife in the game chat bar and yes type the plus sign and btw when a movie comes up or missikon complete sign appears or when you go through teleporter retype it because it will shut of after thoughs scenerios

Yeah, but invincibility takes all of the fun out of it. There is no longer a point in armor, weapons, strategies, or even extra party members other than to hack through it faster. I learned that the hard way... I played through it the first time with invincibility, and the second time I played (so that I knew what it was like without it), it was dull as hell.
