I'm in Cabarete right now, agree with the video, hustlers everywhere, not a crazy as POP though. This a great place, you've just got to watch yourself down here, like any latin american country. American's aren't used to EVERYTHING being for sale. This area of DR could compete with HI, it's beautiful and the surf isn't lethal like in Maui. Great people but a LOT of 'have-nots'. The locals are all great looking, it's bizarre, both men/women. It's a true melting pot here.
