really try to stay loose. if you use your whoole leg you'll tire very quick. make the sound with using as little body movement as possible.

and don't tense!

Here are a few things that help me out:

- Play with the ball of your foot

-Taking your shoe off works for some people

-Learn how to work with the rebound of your beater, its all about timing, the more you practice the easier it becomes.

- Make sure you pedals sping is tensioned properly

You just slide your foot up the pedal. It's super easy. Now what's really crazy is doing sixteenth notes with one foot. Tony Royster Jr. and JoJo Mayer can do it like nobody's business.

u want to position ur foot on the bottom end or the bass pedal, then wen u hit it - before u let it come all the way up - slide ur foot up the pedal and catch it on the rebound - u can get it really fast this way. then wen u get good - u can do 3-4 hits and give a small double bass effect. :D

It is a single pedal. He's got good foot technique. The drummer in my former band can do the same thing and he uses a DW 7000 Single pedal. But, yeah, no Dualist find you here.
