  • exellent video !!! great job! 5*

  • Great locations!

  • The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ2

    and Videostudio 10

darn thing won't accept URL's on here

  • I mean DMC-TZ1

  • Nice vid! What kind of carera do you use and movie maker do you use?

  • Nice work. You should block this punk "XOlifesuxXO." I know that you are a good Christian; don't let his lack of class and decency befoul your site. I'm not as good a Christian as you are...I'd like to run into him...Doc

  • thanks for your compliment and for stickin up for me. I appreciated it. Funny these young teenagers like to be mouthy to even adults on the internet but i bet they wouldn't be so in person face to face. Too bad it happens even in the hobby groups.

  • That's the way that this world seems to be going. Years ago; I was honored to train some young men that were the cream of the crop. Brave, strong, and dedicated to oppressed people being free. There are still fine young people like that everywhere. And for every one of them there seem

to be ten idiots. That guy wrote me and insulted

me. That proves conclusively that he has NO SENSE! I just blocked him. You should too!...Doc

  • I live in McPherson not too far way, just down Highway 56 is all, I need to check this spot out sometime i've seen many cool photos from here, nice video by the way. This line is pretty busy isnt it? how many trains come through lets say during a day?

  • about 30-40 since most eastbounds go via the ark city sub and la junta sub. They leave the Emporia sub at Mulvane and reenter at Elinor KS. The Emporia sub through the Flint Hills sees mostly westbounds.

  • That last comment actually made me laugh, but anyways, very nice video man. Good variety of power and nice to see a Ferromex Gevo, first one I've seen in a video. Also nice to see the complete length of the train, something you don't see too often. Kind of gives you an idea of just how much freight these things move each day.

  • thanks. I can't get too bored of this video. This area sure livens up the trains. I don't know where else in KS you can see most of the train in view such as those big hills in Matfield Green.

  • Clip 1. Nice on that!

    2. Nice to see some NS in the picture, I've actually filmed the second unit in the consist just recently!

    3. Older power has tooken over!

    4. Nice NS SD70M-2 in the consist between the BNSF

    Dash 9s.

    5. Sweet Ferromex!! I need one of those to come by me soon!
