Fantastic to see a crowd united in their respect and love of the great man. Brilliant player, captain and ambassador. His performance marking Pele in 1970 was just incredible. In an era where heroes don't have to achieve much for recognition, this man did it by being a truly great player and lifting the World Cup. R.I.P. Bobby, from a Liverpool fan.

I can still vividly remember the England v Brazil game in the 1970 WC. It was played at about 7.00 pm on a hot summers' evening and I can still hear my Dad calling me in from the garden to say the game was about to start.

Oh, and BTW the manner in which the FA treated Bobby after his retirement was a f*****g disgrace.
