In responce to the beginning of the vid: That`s not what Christmas is in America either. It`s all been over romanticised.

Christmas in America became popular during the Victorian period, along with Thanksgiving. Most of the classic romantic ideals of American life began in that time period, such as the big lavish wedding that costs one million dollars. It`s a very interesting and backwards period in history. I recommend looking up some stuff about Victorian America, it`s funny as hell.

While they`re gone their houses are vulnerable and people do get robbed each year during that time. And even if you don`t leave your state or the country for Christmas week; criminals like that day because people let their guards down. They`re off visiting relatives and they don`t expect a break-in.
