  • Ok , to start , you are a legend prospector!! You could make more money from taking people like me on gold tours !! Lol , love watching all your vids ! I'm only a hack , but love the hunt ! I got two questions for you first , whats a good detector to start with with is the mine lab 3000 any good ?? An two why do you need to go so deep etc , can't your detector go that deep ?? Thanks and please write back !!

  • If that 4oz baby wasn't a monster, I would love to see what you consider one to be. Way to go, good to see you can still find colour where the old guy's missed it.

  • Love your videos--- they've inspired me and my brother to plan a 3-month trip to WA (from Colorado!) armed with GPX 5000s over your winter in '13 after I retire. Keep them coming!

  • RAPE & PILLAGE...Show some fuckin respect, that shits UN-AUSTRALIAN and disrespects us all. You are the difference between fishing the local wharf and a Japannese Whaling Cannery. No respect, rape and pillage. NOT COOL MATE.

  • @gonefishin1977 This place had already been pot-holed and turned upside down during the gold rush era. As a result the habitat had been completely messed up, noxious weeds and rabbits were the main inhabitants..The land is now fully rehabitated and revegitated with native species.. I consider myself to be more environmentally responsible than most. Despite Modern day mining regulations which require full rehabitation, I do not and would not leave a mess regardless. So there!!

  • @zaqqaz22 Mate im looking at purchasing a minelab X terra 705 for beach combing and also to use when i go hunting. Can i ask your advice on the X terra ,im just starting off in the game.

  • @gonefishin1977 Mining built Australia you stupid arrogant cock sucker.

  • @bradbbs Australia is 600 million years old ya wombat, you can see it lining the fuckin property. Or are they weeds and rabbits?

  • @gonefishin1977 your a moron, our whole country is being dug up and sold!

  • @investornator at least he australian u nob

  • @topster57 Mate what are you on about?I asked Zqqaz22 about his opinion on a Mine Lab X-terra 705 as i am just starting off in metal detection ,and i cop "im a nob"?

    You have issues Mate

  • omg gimme some haha

  • What kind of license do you need mate to operate excavotors for gold fossicking? Here in VIC with a basic "Miners Right" you aren't allowed to use anything mechanical, everything has to be hand dug. Im not sure if that includes your own property or not

  • @bradbbs Sorry I just realised your in VIC too. Im guessing you have got a full on Miners License? I've been wanting to do this on my property in St Arnaud but not sure what I need

  • @bradbbs To do the heavy work you will need to apply for a Mining Lease (even if the area is on your own property) and this can be a very time consuming excercise, especially in Vic. Once you have the lease, you will need to put forward a "Mining Proposal" to outline the work you want to do and how you will rehab it. If you want to operate in Vic, I would suggest the DPI website would be the first place to start.

  • @Kable645 Would I just be able to dig a large dam (which I don't really need but it would be handy to have one)? Then I could dig it out to about 2-3 meters and detect all the soil that comes out of it, as well as detect the base of the dam. Would I still need to go through all the bullshit if I did it that way? At least I wouldn't have to restore it to original condition etc but im not sure if you still need to get approval to dig a dam

  • Make me wanna move to Australia

  • one piece! =)

  • wow look how they raped the land for only 10 oz wonder what that land looks like now?

  • I HAVE GOLD FEWER

  • Great work, it's good to see that you know what you are doing, I think your the only one here on youtube that does! Over 20 years ago I caught gold fever when working in an open cut at Red hill in Heathcote. I was an apprentice fitter, every time the digger shit it's self down in the hole, I would go sniffing around the lead for some color and site supervisor would chase me away lol. Damn geology, there is so much to learn! Keep up your good work.

  • ola zaqqaz maravilha seus video. Eu quero lhe convidar para vir ao Brasil tem uns lugares aqui para encontrarmos algumas pepitas de ouro. Eu sou garimpeiro também e vai ser um prazer receber voce na minha casa.

  • @zaqqaz22 One thing you forgot to mention, did you leave the area as you found it ? Or destroyed as per the video ?

  • what does a metal detector cost sir?

  • @dudeskut you can get a cheap piece of crap for like $100, or you can buy a real good one for $5000.. the good ones are worth the money if you are serious.. If starting I would buy a good one, seond hand.. $1000 to $2000
