@SimpleGraffiti Yeah, you need written consent from B.O.B. or whatever record label he's on depending on the Copyright contract. The only way saying "I don't own the rights" is acceptable is after 20 years when the Copyright is alleviated.

Since Google took over, they are constantly looking for videos like this. The reason your last video's music was revoked was because of this. Sheer luck or express written consent is the only way to avoid copyright infringement thanks to fucking Google...

@MrSagmuffin Yeah, it is easily obtainable. All you have to do is send the artist a request. That artist will decide weather or not to allow you to use their song. Since they are making Millions of dollars and their life isn't busy at all, they should reply almost instantly.... /sarcasm.

But in seriousness. You do need written consent from whoever owns it. The artist, the producer, the label... I've never applied to ask, I just hope it doesn't get blocked...
