  • Wow. That was beautiful. Very tastefully arranged and performed. Thank you VERY MUCH for sharing this, ladies.

We don't hear enough of this kind of music/performance.

  • Beautiful singing and harmonizing on one of the greatest of songs. Hope you girls are still working together.

  • Beautifully sung!!!

  • Love it!

  • wow very sweet! keep it up!

  • Simple 4 part harmony....performed to perfection!

  • Outstanding harmony!! Absolutely love it!!

  • you girls have a rare and wonderful talent. thank you for giving me hope that musical talent will once again show its head.

  • The Four Quarters just had their first CD released by Crystal Ball Records on November 1. It is entitled "A Pocket Full of Change". As good as they are in these videos, they get the benefit of a little studio magic to make the balance even better on the CD.

  • that is really good hahaha, I am doing this with my choir in TTB and unfortunately the harmonies are not as cool as these.

  • This is proof that there is still great beauty in a simple song, well sung in straight 4-part harmony. It won't make the charts but it is a very pleasant experience for the listener.

  • really like an old organ nice (From Srilanka)

  • Lovely song, lovely singing, lovely smiles!

    .

I hope you great success, you deserve it.

  • I'm sure there are Red River Valleys all around North America, but none as pretty as your wonderful singing. You young women have a wonderful sound singing in that location, let's hope you all four can sing together for years to come. "Just remember the Red River Valley" Great singing!

  • you girls sound awesome, been playin this on a harp for years but never knew how pretty it could sound!!

  • Oh, no. We live in Ontario.

  • oops haha

  • northern or southern ontario?? do you do any performances or anything?

  • @backcatcher04 .....??? nice singing.

  • Wow you guys are great!! Gave me chills! Any sheet music for parts? Me, my sister, and my two cousins love to sing with parts. If I could find sheet music, it would be great!

  • It's actually an arrangement of our director, which was scrawled by hand on some paper; not really something we can distribute! If we decide to print and give out our arrangements, we'll let you know. Thanks for your comment!

  • Thats fine, thanks anyways =] And your welcome.

  • @karlijennifer I've heard this song so many times but this is the best ever. It is hard to type through the tears. Hope to see you in Branson Missouri soon.

  • Lovely warm up with a bravely and so correct harmonies. Will it get also a jazzy version? ;-)

  • A question: have you seen/heard 'A Prairie Home Companion'? (the radio show or the Altman film). There are some who call 'Red River Valley' the saddest song ever written, and when Garrison Keillor and cast perform it, you feel it.

Not that you should emalute them, but viewing the definitive performance of that song may add a dimension to your future performances (as well as you sing it).
