That one spirit, whom we know as our God Jehovah, clothed himself in flesh, and gave himself a name that humanity can be saved by and that represents his salvation he offers to us freely. JESUS- our Jehovah Savior- The almighty robed in human flesh. Just like we are clothed in flesh, God had to give himself a body. The fullness of the Godhead dwells in bodily form.

The initial church was the Catholic church - Catholic means "universal", please don't confuse this with the Roman Catholic church. There are many variations of Catholicims. If you go to Brazil you will find a very different version than that of Rome.

To Jews in the "name of" refers to the authority of. Acts 2:38 "in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins" How does this remission occur? It only occurs because Jesus died on the cross and he has the authority to remove sin. You are still sinful man by nature, but Jesus covers yours sin in the eyes of God.

Dr. Bernard is a good man & I have genuine respect for him!. However, he is in error with his interpretation of Matthew 1:18-19. Bernard says, " The one who causes conception is the Father. Matthew 1:18-19 says that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit is a different person from the Father, than Jesus had two Fathers!". The Father and the Son have a relationship between them, so they are not an identity; they are one, but that oneness does not mean we don't get to fellowship with the Father as the Father, and the man Christ as the man Christ. That one spirit, whom we know as our God Jehovah, clothed himself in flesh, and gave himself a name that humanity can be saved by and that represents his salvation he offers to us freely. JESUS- our Jehovah Savior- The almighty robed in human flesh. Just like we are clothed in flesh, God had to give himself a body. The fullness of the Godhead dwells in bodily form.

Bernard overlooks one simple verse that can clear up the Oneness doctrine. John 5:22. If Jesus is God the Father then he ceases to stop being such, alas Jesus himself notes the Father judges no one, but God's Word does, aka Jesus Christ. Jesus did not lie here my friends otherwise the sacrifice is invalid. Father, Son, Holy Spirit = God of Abraham (The Father) God of Isaac (The Son) and God of Jacob (The Holy Spirit). The initial church was the Catholic church - Catholic means "universal", please don't confuse this with the Roman Catholic church. There are many variations of Catholicims. If you go to Brazil you will find a very different version than that of Rome.

Revelation 2:6 is more like it, the doctrine of the Nicolatianes. Which refers to the heirarchy of the Roman Cathloic church and the archbishop with all of the power as well as the deeds based orientation of their practices. Acts 2:18, John 1:14, Heb 1:3, Acts 17:11 have nothing to do with the discussion at hand. Each church group is a break off from the Bible which is the foundation of the church - God's Word, the Old Testament - Prophets and the New Testament - the Apostles.

The apostles started the "church." The church is the body of believers that includes the apostles. They didn't call themselves the Apostolic church and the latin word for universal is Catholic. I think you are arguing over semantics for no reason. Anything that is universal in Latin is Catholic. Review Ephesians Chapter 3. Stop categorizing individuals belivievers as Jewish believers, Apostolic believers, etc. Palestine is not a country it is a people group of nomads and the area they frequented

The Catholic church always existed for the church was universal in purpose and mission at the time. Don't let the current stigma associated with Catholocism remove the meaning of the word. Is the God of Abraham (Father), God of Isaac (Son), God of Jacob (Holy Spirit) a title?
If you were a triune God who had a single name of Jehovah forever, yet there were three distinct personages within you the single entity, how would you state this if not in titles?

@pastorhouston2009 needs to quote a Biblical verse to prove Baptism in Jesus' name that excludes the Father and the Holy Spirit. That is - Can Matthew 28:19 that mentions all three in Baptism be contradicted by pastorhouston2009 ?

To Jews in the "name of" refers to the authority of. Acts 2:38 "in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins" How does this remission occur? It only occurs because Jesus died on the cross and he has the authority to remove sin. You are still sinful man by nature, but Jesus covers yours sin in the eyes of God.
Jesus notes he is one and his Father is one in reference to witnesses. He did not lie, he noted the Jewish law of two persons, yet the Lord is one. God is inifinite, man is finite.

In Numbers 23:18-19, Balaam the prophet, begins his prophecy by saying; .. "God is NOT a MAN, that He should lie, nor the Son of Man that He should repent". ....Notice, that the word "Both" in English, is "plural" and means "TWO". The "Father" is "Spirit", the "Son", has a "glorified flesh body". You need to come out of this Cult, or you will go to Hell by the "standard" of the scripture I just quoted you. David Bernard is a False teacher, He has no "Spirit baptism" as he claims to have, he has No "power of God", which accompanies the TRUE Spirit baptism, and only possible to those who remain in the DOCTRINE of CHRIST. @sorens70601 if the trinity is true than that means that someday satan is going to accomplish something that God could not, trinitarians have no problem admitting that there is one satan who is the father of lies, the son of perdition,and the spirit of iniquity all at the same time, who one day will go take up residence inside one man and that one man will be all of satan and he will have one name.

This is straight heresy. We dealt with this in the Nicene Creed. Read it. God is three persons. Read also Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, and Matthew 3.
"If you think about it, the one who causes conception is the Father" - he has absolutely no biblical basis for this claim.

You talk about matt 28:19 but the bible says one faith, one lord, one baptism correct..... show me where someone in the bible was baptized in the titles in matt 28:19...you cant .....so who's right the Apostles or you and as far as a biblical base for Pastor Bernards teachings where do you want to start .... and as far as you saying the father causes conception the BIBLE say it was the holy ghost that hovered over Mary so if there is 3 person that would mean the holy ghost is the father.

Luke 1:35 denotes the Holy Ghost, the Highest (The Father), and the Son of God. hence Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord Almighty, God of Abraham (Father), God of Isaac (Son), God of Jacob (Holy Ghost). God of the living, because Jesus as the Son of God came in the "order of" God making him God in nature as John notes, hence the blasphemy. If you were a triune God with one name what would you use if not titles?
Show us where there is a quote that notes them saying "Jesus" on the way down into water

Have you read the Nicene Creed? It contradicts the bible, Plus the bible says Rev 22:18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: the creed is adding to God's word.....you are trying to say someone is wrong in there teachings and you are basing your information from something OUTSIDE of the bible so I say this in love be very careful what you follow.

Revelation 22:4 states and they will see his face. If everyone sees Jesus at judgment day then this verse is pointless.
Revelation is speaking of adding to the Bible, not extra Biblical documents open to interpretation. The Bible itself has had numerous interpretation including the Oneness groups. Modalism, Arianism, and Trinitarianism were all represented in Nicea. Was God not with them? Was Satan overshadowing this meeting? Constantine denounced the Trinity later on. or wrong? Arias made the biggest arguments did he not:? Tertullian coined Trinitas, with Theophilus of whom the Book of Acts and the Gospel of Luke was written to coining the term "trias." Did Luke teach his good friend wrong? Does Satan mimic of God as the Anti-Christ who dies and rises again ala (Son), False Prophet who witnesses to this and performs miracles ala (Holy Spirit), and Satan operating in the background ala (God the Father) just a coincidence? Who is he trying to dupe here?
