thats way to small for you. if you want something faster than get a crf250f or a cr125. if you want something bigger but not as fast get a crf230. And thats if you want to stick with honda. personally i prefer yamaha.
no way dude no offence but the CRF100 might struggle with you on it, your way to big for that little engine. Id suggest a 250 4 stroke or a 125 2 stroke. im 5'11 and 130lbs and i ride a YZ 125.
my friends dad said "That things absolutely nuts when you hit power" that was on a 125. It depends on how much power you want. if your taller you could go with a bigger bike, just cause if you get one too small yu may grow out of it fast, and literally grow out of it, like get so tall that your flat foot with your knees bent when you sit on it haha thats what it was like for me so i got a YZ 125. if your a beginner id suggest a bike thats big but not too powerful. like a CRF150r or a KX/RM100.
Well me im 5'8" 160ibs and i was looking at a CRF100 on the craig list think thatd be good? im not even sure and 2 of my friends were arguing about whether or not 125s and 150s were too powerful for me to learn on and im like "wow who am i suppose to beleive? ,SHIT!"
nah dude thats kinda small for you. yamahas TTR bikes are pretty good beginner bikes. TTR 125's are pretty fun and a ttr 230s are decent bikes. Id suggest lookin at those, and a CRF150r would be good,
ive been riding dirtbikes ever since i was 5....(im 16 now).....even though ur just starting off, a 125 would be great because you wont grow out of it....AND when u get better at riding you can go fast as fuck and hit jumps n shit......unlike a TTR they get boring quick, not to great on power....a CRF150r would be decent but you would be better off putting your money towards a 125.
no crf100 are piles, if you want a small bike you can't go wrong with a kx 100 or a yz125 , but if you can afford it, you shouldn't bother with the little bikes, look at a few 250's or larger, but i am 6'2 228lbs and i can still mess around on my little kx100.
that bike is a good wheelie bike i could ride a wheelie on the one i had for forever just pop it up in 2nd and go through the gears. or just pop it up in 3rd and get straight up but tap the brake
2 strokes u wana get in the power band by going slow and reving kinda and then once in u can just gas and pull up then weight a sec gas-sec-gas-sec-gas and u will go far
2strokes pop clutch
just get it pretty high rps will moving slowly then pop the clutch and the sec-gas-sec-gas and contuinue
also with a 2 stroke do it at least in 3rd
4stroke gas wheelie
just gas it in lie 2nd 3rd and then hold and get to far back hit back brake
i can get the bike up in second gear but once i need to shift i need to go down. to shift do i hold in the clutch nd shift or do i just let off nd shift?
NO! you must use the clutch but fastly. get your foot close from the brake to don't fall on your ass. but try to do a wheelie without shifting! start in third or fourth gear!
the way u wheelie a crf100 is pop the clutch in 2nd gear then once u get it up and u reach the balancing point then shift to third...then do the same with 4th.but i cant keep mine up in 5th.....
Hey, how do you wheelie for so long? I have a 100 CRF, and I preload the shocks and give it gas in 2nd, but it gets me about 20 feet and then it falls...is there anyway to do a wheelie for longer in a higher gear?
hey guys this is my advice for practicing wheelies. im no master but i just started getting good. practice on the road or in a grass field so ur tire will grab the ground and bring you up, thats what i have been doing
- sit you on the back of the seat for dont lose balance
- Hold your handlebar firmly
- start to run slowly and shift your bike in the third speed (continue to run slowly)
- to make the wheelie gives a blow of clutch and normally it should come up. (if it does not come up you dont goes enough quickly or if it misses power giving a blow on the suspension. if you want to do a long wheelie try to hold the gas equalizes...
no modification... and for the sound it does not have pipe , I have only remove the tip of exhaust. if you want to come up like me, try to give a blow of clutch in third speed and hold it! Thanks all for the comments.

bman993 4 years ago
On this video i dont shift but its easy to shift during a wheelie. Practise often to shift in wheelie... That take speed.
francis9dufour 4 years ago
i usually start in 2nd but after it revs out or i try to shift it fall right back down.
any suggestions?
johndeere9620rg 4 years ago
all that I can say to help you it's:
- sit you on the back of the seat for dont lose balance
- Hold your handlebar firmly
- start to run slowly and shift your bike in the third speed (continue to run slowly)
- to make the wheelie gives a blow of clutch and normally it should come up. (if it does not come up you dont goes enough quickly or if it misses power giving a blow on the suspension. if you want to do a long wheelie try to hold the gas equalizes...
