When someone reads your d, you're done. When I hike, I look for cover 2. I have a slot receiver always rdy for a possible cover 2. If I catch you in it, easy 50+ yards.

Cover 3, expose defense with mid range attacks and hope for a lot of rac. Same for cover 4.

The important thing about d is not keeping the field covered, a good qb will rape whatever you throw at him. The key is to bring pressure and force him to make bad reads. No pressure = easy reads, and receivers WILL get open.

for a pass in the zone the defense will back peddle to their zone after the snap. for a man coverage the D will run to their man coverage. a cover 2 is a zone underneith in the flats with the two corners. they dont leave the flats. the easiest way to read the D is to watch for blitzing defenders and throw to the spot they just left. if u play someone who blitzes alot then spread them out and work you TE's and WR across the middle. that will stop the blitz in a couple plays

the key is reading safties first, will tell you what COVER theyre in. Next read linebackers looking for a blitz or if they are in zone. LBs usually suk at man coverage.. remember READ SAFTIES!!!

my defense is a 3-4 cover 4 secondary deep, line shifted to the right, linebackers shifted to the left, click on ur right defensive end and cover the middle, and for pressure just blitz ur left linebacker... the play is good for both run and pass

iight so a really good way and easy way to play defense is man coverage, with a safety back deep and blitz 2 linebackers. Then after a few plays the zone will start working for a play or two
