Last season with Edie's suicide was a scene that tugged at the heart strings of all DH fans. Yeah Edie's a bitch but where would the show go without Edie? But this season finale pulled a page out of the LOST and HEROES book and aired a "_____ months/years later" scene. nicely done. I wonder if Grey's will do the same tonight.

The creator Marc Cherry is signed up until season seven I think, so there will be at least a season five and six if not a seven. Apparently Marcia Cross, who plays Bree admitted in an interview recently, that season five is set five years in the future, like at the end of this. Gaby is mom to 2 kids, Bree has a successful catering empire,Lynette's sons are causing trouble and being arrested, Katherines daughter is engaged & Susan is married? to someone who ISNT mike. Edie WILL be in it aparently

The show creator has stated that Season Five will pick up five years in the future. Im guessing they are doing this to shake up the plot and make it fresh. The show will from now on be a mix of present with flash forwards to the future like LOST.

I do recognizr the actor, the man is portryared by Gale Howatd (Queer As Folk, Brian Kinney). From what I heard apparantly Susan and Mike eventually break up and she ends up dating then marrying this unknown character sometime between now and the final season. As for What happens to Mike, that's a mystery :)
