@MrNonoz To me, Devi's pedals are mostly different animals than the OCD. This one in particular has that overdrive flavour to it, but most of the rest are no holes barred fuzz. The one sounds like EQD's monarch overdrive to me... But anyways, the OCD is really not related to this in my opinion. Therefore, all I can say is... Its up to you to decide! (thats always the answer anyways ;)
See, I thought Andy was a tool for the longest time.
Then I watched the Malekko 616 Delay vid: Holiday in Cambodia... ok, douche points removed.
Now this, with Pinhead. Not I wanna be sedated, not blitzkreig, but Pinhead. Good call sir. This is one of the better DE pedals I think. Not a fuzz guy.
YESH RAMONES!!! I don't wanna be a pinhead no moar! haha. I love you proguitarshop. I will be buying a Devi Ever fuzz (one of them) from you guys soon!!
@modestvermin995 Hmm. Well the Torn's Peaker would be a good "over the top" choice. I'd assume it would blend well with the tone wicker model seeing as how it's got a very Dynamic range. Or the Karaoke Party shown here, I'm often running my big muff with on OD and this one has a good flavor. It all chalks up to your taste and your rig. you could do what I did and drop 300 for three Devi pedals and test 'em out. :) good luck, toneseeker
i love how people get these fuzz pedals thinking youll get magic tone from em, i here andy play these pedals and sound great, but when you get them home people complain they dont sound good, well its because if you dont know how to use a simple fuzz into an amp and have good playing tone, you will never achieve a good sound with any pedal.
Hey PGS, I always love your demos, but I've noticed Andy only demos Strat/Tele style Single Coils and Humbuckers (at least what I've seen so far, and that's probably over 100).
Why no P-90 love? Surely you guys can get a nice Goldtop with Soapbars for Andy to rock some demos with?
Well wouldn't a guitar player have a more original sound if there are more pedals to choose from? Basically the opposite of when everyone used to use the same BOSS effects pedals over and over and over.
Is it an overdrive with fuzz characteristics, or a fuzz with overdrive characteristics? I dunno, but I like its sound better than most fuzzes I've heard. Plus...bitchin' paint job!
Meh.. don't let him bother you. He's probably the type of person who spends way too much time trying to make covers sound exactly the same as the original, which is boring and unoriginal. So much better to take a song and make it your own.
Hilarious. When PGS demos more out-there type fuzz pedals everybody bitches about them being unusable. Then, when a company know for making more extreme-type fuzzes (Devi Ever) makes a more straightforward OD pedal y'all say it's boring.
Actually I think they are going for "Simple and Affordable." This pedal is a great example of the understanding that gear should be accessible to even a musician stays home and plays to a mirror because they just wanna have fun.
I think that's what drives music, the fun that's incorporated with learning it, and putting your heart and soul into it.
I plugged in a microphone but I did not sound like Streisand. Are you sure this pedal is named correctly?

Yes, more companies need to make more OD pedals with fuzz flavors to them. That's the best sound.

something lightly off topic... the Rocket is Soda Meiser + Vintage Fuzz circuits? and Shoe Gazer is again Soda Meiser + Torn's Peaker?
thanks for care.
zambly 2 years ago
@zambly
Yes, the new line of Rocket pedals have "SM" and "VF" at the bottom. As for the Shoe Gazer I believe so, but you'll have to check out that one.

What's the last song you play from 4.11 to the end? Cool riff.
Suggestion: what do you think about insert subtitles whit title and writer of the song while you play the licks inside e demo?

Thanks! That riff was just something made up on the spot.
