What's great about Caliendo is that he doesn't get sucked into a political debate. He doesn't turn into a spokesperson for someone's campaign, like Chris Rock and Robin Williams tend to do. He refuses to take sides and as a result doesn't alienate half of his audience because they know he respects them, regardless of their political opinions.
