that was a great blues tutorial, i definitely enjoyed that, thank you so much, looking forwards to your next vids, your cam was very blurred, however the lesson made up for the the bad pic.......
Hi, i was just wondering aren't blues meant to be sad?? We have to compose a 12 bar blues at school...but i don't know the difference between blues and jazz!
Thanks. Good lesson. I love it. I'm a beginner at age 50 and need more practice to coordinate my left & right hands for a smooth play. Is 50 too late to learn piano?
ever since I played Blues Brothers on GameBoy, there was this song in Pause Menu and I've been looking for it for years now and you made a tut on how to play iton 1:40
Thank you for that!
BTW: Does that Base has a Name, so I can check youtube for it?
I don't play piano, I'm just in a freinds at the moment (he has a keyboard), and I've learnt some blues with no previous experience, just from your lesson. I play guitar and I do understand all the theory behind it, but I'm very impressed.
I like that you actually show people the blues scale as well! I love the blues scale but my favourite key for it is in F, but obviously it is easiest to do it in C - You could check out the twelve bar blues on my channel of you wanted, it has some really cool key changes and seventh cords and improvisation as well!
Thank you so much!!!! I can't afford to get music lessons for my kids. I play guitar but my youngest wants to learn piano. This is helping me get my boys started (Lord help me!) . Thank you so very much!!!
Very nice lesson! Just started on the blues and I love the 12 bar blues so much. This is perfect for combining the scales, the 12 bar blues, and hand independence all at the same time.
The altered chord is an augmented G chord, with a raised 9 for the A# (rather than spelling it Bb). What is described as a Eb, is really a D#, which is a raised 5th scale degree, making it augmented quality.
You should make a tutorial for basic riffs like for left hand and right hand. Like the things that you did on this video. All those riffs make a tutorial video for us because it's great and you're a really good teacher. Hope to see that tutorial thanks.
what i love about the last couple minutes is that you can tell he gets into it. Every musician has this mindset where you just get lost and can go forever just improvising and puttin out a good groove! He definitely hit that zone!
Thank you very much..I had a friend tell me about 12 bar blues but didnt really know what it was..I got the scale down but I'm having trouble putting it together,But in time I'm sure I'll get it..thanks again..Great lesson
good first lesson to teach the independance of the hands ! The end should be slower to teach .Can you make another video for the end ? When is the next lesson which go a step further about the independance of the hands ?
