some of the top haute couture designers don't even use faces, as it is the clothing that people are looking at everyone has thier own style, and some designers including jean paul gaultier have and still do use templates for the figure. brill work very beautiful colours keep it up. x
I have been doing sketches with little training, if i send u links to them, could you critique me on them, and possibly give tips on the human from, and how to make them better?
I can help you w/ that . Your figure should be 8 heads long or longer for formal gowns. you can find some fashion illustration books too! draw the head, make it 1.5" long, go vertically on the paper, keep making a mark every 1.5" til u have 8 sections. Apex of bust goes @ 2,Waist @ 3, hips @ or just below 4, knees @ 6, and feet stop @ 8 or you put ankles @ 8 for longer look. Hope it helps. Taking a life drawing class will help u draw the body better & your figures look more realistic.
great style! love the beat that drops from 1:06.
