If I were him, I'd see a weapon too. Also, the guy was hiding around a corner and leaning. I would think he's taking pot shots. I see nothing bad about this video. Civilians like us aren't used to seeing something like this everyday. Yet for them they deal with this all the time, if you look closely it does look like they have weapons slung over their shoulders. They don't have the luxury of a friendly arrow pointing to them saying they have a camera. War is never a pretty thing and it is impossible to "civilize" it. Ask any of our veterans and serving members.

Collateral damage occurs and it sucks that innocent people get caught in the cross fire. All of those facts are included in the book, "The Good Soldiers" by David Finkel who was embedded in the 2-16th which was involved.

@proudfreemason Your use of plurals is unfounded. One of the men had a gun. The first two men that were falsely identified as having guns, in fact had cameras. All 12 were lazily strolling down the road, and their obvious lack of formation or military intent, is clear for any child to see. Later on in this video (not included in this clip) a civilian van pulls up and a couple of guys get out and carry away a wounded man. Their van (with two children in it) is also shot up. Way to go USA!!

What I saw was a grainy picture (Which is what the Pilots see) of roughly 8 to 10 Men strolling down the street and 2 of the Men VERY CLEARLY Brandishing Automatic Machine Guns. They peek around a corner taking aim with something then proceed to gather in a group to discuss something. There are MANY American ARMY Units in the area hence the Helicopter guarding position. They wrote in a letter “We are doing what we can to speak out against the wars and military policies responsible for what happened to you and your loved ones.” Mr McCord claims to have been so traumatised by the incident shown in the video that he asked for counselling, which he was denied by a commanding officer.
They also asked in the letter what they could do to “begin to repair the damage we caused"

99% of US soldiers are sadistic, and taught to be that way. No concern for civilians, if they're Iraqi shoot them, and if it turns out they were innocent just cover it up and lie.
If you're caught, blame it on the civilians for daring to leave their homes and venturing outside in their own country.
Then just go on about collateral damage and get a medal for the whole thing.

Yeah, see, if I were the gunner of that helicopter, first of all it would look far more fuzzy to me than what we see here. This is what the camera saw, not what the human saw. If I were him, I'd see a weapon too. Also, the guy was hiding around a corner and leaning. I would think he's taking pot shots. Second of all, they shouldn't be there, it's a combat zone, shots are being fired down the road and they want to take pictures? These guys were asking for trouble, soldiers take no chances.

Agree or disagree with what happened in video.....DOESN'T MATTER! The pilots are trained to do what they did. You can't see what they saw in this video its not clear enough. But if somebody had a rocket launcher walking down my street and I could take them out. I would and all their friends! Because if they are hanging out with a dude with a rocket launcher then they probably want to do something bad as well! ROCK ON AMERICA!
