  • You catholics are completely ignorant. You believe what men have told you to believe and not what gods word is. Not to mention the complete illogical leap that jesus meant literally to eat his flesh. Morons

  • the eucharist is the sacrifice of our lord and saviors body blood soul and divinity to the father on the altar at mass to atone for the sins of man. but this is not a different sacrifice than the one that jesus made on calvary, it is the same sacrifice. let no fundie, excatholic, etc tell you different.

  • when i say protestants i mean fundamentalists. not all protestants are dishonest. i have family and friends that are catholic and protestant and most of them are very honest in terms of christianity and may God bless them all.

  • it's amazing how ignorant protestants are. they pick out and change what they want. and go on passing off as if they were sent by god to bring this "born again" messgae to deceive God's elect and then turn around and call us the

Whore of Babylon. This was all predicted in prophecy my friends. Keep up the good work Glenn. God bless.

  • It's not anticatholic, it is antilies. All the truth is in the word of God.

  • @williamsfilms1 So then the Catholic Church is the truth, because we believe the word of God. Why don't you take the time to watch this guy's videos and learn what we believe instead of turning a Chick tract or something like that.

  • @DavidVelezPerez Wrong, Jesus is the truth. And the bible speaks truth to Gods true people but the Catholic church speaks lies and teaches evil, like idolatry for just one of many false doctrines, last thing they did was make Pope John Paul II into a saint. Who told them to do that??? Selling statues for millions around the world to trusting people who don't know Jesus as they should instead they look to the silly priest who knows nothing himself.

Read the word, and know truth (Jesus)

  • @williamsfilms1 Well, "Jesus" founded our Church 2,000 years ago, when was your Church founded? Catholic images ARE NOT IDOLS. Not all religious statues are idols (see Exodus 25:18-22, Exodus 26:1, Exodus 26:31, and Numbers 21:8-9) and actually Solomon's temple was FILLED WITH IMAGES (1 Kings 6:23-29, 1 Kings 6:35, 1 Kings 7:29). And you say we don't "read the word" (our Church put "the word" together, hello!).

  • @DavidVelezPerez The word was put together into a bible that only the Catholic church read and Interpreted to the people and we all know what that lead to, more cash for the Catholic church through indulgences for people to get a piece of paper to give them the right to sin, what a joke. By the way I'm sorry to sound rude, I love Catholic people but I don't like the lies that are taking them to hell that are still taught in their church.

  • @williamsfilms1 How could you not like what does not exist? Because there are no lies in our Church. And many other Church had a record "burning people". Anglicans, Eastern Orthodox Christians, and Calvinists had their own history of "burning people as heretics." (Oh and by the way there are many Non-Catholic Christian Churches that have their own accounts of child molestion by pastors). And the Catholic Church did not give people are "paper" so they can sin. We've all discouraged sin.

  • @DavidVelezPerez Oh ya, why do so many Catholics worship Mary, they pray to her and bow down to cement blocks that are carved out to look like her. Why have I never heard any priest rebuke this evil activity of idolatry that brings in thousands of dolloars to th Catholic Church. Ooopps, I think I answered my own question...

  • @williamsfilms1 CATHOLICS DON'T WORSHIP MARY!!!!!!!! HAVE MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO SAY WE DON'T WORSHIP HER! HASN'T TOLD TO YOU THIS ALREADY? And I already gave you Bible verses on how NOT ALL STATUES ARE IDOLS READ Exodus 25:18-22, Exodus 26:1, Exodus 26:31, and Numbers 21:8-9, 1 Kings 6:23-29, 1 Kings 6:35, 1 Kings 7:29 And the reason why pray to Mary is not because we worship her, it is because so she can pray for us to God. AND TRUTH IS OUT IT'S CALLED JESUS, THE BIBLE, AND THE CHURCH.

  • Comment removed

  • *HASN'T ANYONE

  • @DavidVelezPerez Oh I see, you don't worship her cuz you "SAY" you don't. You just crawl on your knees in front of her toward her in prayer. I guess you see worship in a very strange way from what it really is.

Besides you also pray to staues of her, "idolatry" and the word says not to pray to the dead, so did mary not die? And where in the word does it say to pray to her rather than God as Jesus himself tought.

You people have ears to hear but do not hear. I don't think you're born again.

  • @williamsfilms1 First of all who are you make that judgment, stop playing God, second of all I am baptized, or "born again through water and the spirit" - John 3:5 to be more specific. And I don't crawl, I walk then I kneel ;) And we don't pray TO the statues. We pray to the people who the statues are OF. Just like when you kiss a picture of dead relative, the kiss wasn't meant for the picture, but for the relative! And where in the word, does it say everything had to be in the "word"? huh?

  • @DavidVelezPerez OK, I see this will go nowhere, so do one thing for me, explain this scripture to me please:

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

  • @williamsfilms1 That doesn't contradict what I just said nor the verse I just cited. The verse I just cited said people are born again through water and THE SPIRIT. And your verse says we are born again of GOD. THE [HOLY] SPIRIT = GOD! The verse you cited didn't say anything about Christians not being born of water.

  • @DavidVelezPerez I asked if you could explain it. I never said it contradicts anything you're assuming things. Just explain what it means please, with out assuming things, just tell me as a Christian what this scripture means.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

  • @williamsfilms1 What further is there to explain. The verse is correct. Why did you pick that verse? What are you implying. Please explain further.

  • @DavidVelezPerez Are you not going to tell me what it means?

  • @williamsfilms1 You're playing games and it's really childish. It means that we are born again of God. Not of blood or flesh. Meaning like "born again doesn't mean going back into your mother's womb, it means being born again spiritualy." Please stop making this complicated, then it needs to bee.

  • *be

  • @DavidVelezPerez OK you know what it means and that's good. So how do you become born again?

  • @williamsfilms1 Through God as the verse quoted just said but The Spirit is God, God is the spirit. And John 3:5 says through "water" too. If two kids named "Jim" and "Dan" break a window and Jim gets caught, but they think "Sally" and "Bob" did it. They'll say something like "Sally didn't do it, Bob didn't do it. Jim did. " Does that mean Jim alone did it? Same thing with the verse I quoted and the verse you quoted. We are born of God, the Spirit through water not flesh and blood.

  • @DavidVelezPerez You don't make any sense, so I'll just tell you how to be born again. You must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. When you do he comes into into you and you will understand spiritual things at a whole new level. All you have to do is pray this prayer and mean it. "Lord Jesus please come into my heart and be my Lord and savior, and forgive me for all my sins amen". Then just go to a REAL church where they teach the truth and you will grow in truth. Try it...

  • @williamsfilms1 I do make sense, you're just being thick-headed. I AM IN A REAL CHURCH. A 2,000 year old Church. Not some random sect that just popped out on nowhere after the reformation"You must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior." So according to you Catholics are saved because we already did that. :)

  • @williamsfilms1 WHAT IS WAS TRYING TO SAY is that WE ARE BORN AGAIN OF GOD as John 1:12 says, not of flesh and blood. BUT HOW DOES ONE BECOME BORN AGAIN OF GOD? That verse you quote didn't say how. It just we are born again of God. HOW? Water and the Spirit! (John 3:5)

  • @DavidVelezPerez The word the whole time said that we must pray to God for forgiveness of sin and show fruits of repentance, but sense the Catholic church killed and burned all of God’s people who wanted to translate the word into our language it took all this time for God’s final chosen in these last days to be able to read the real truth instead of having to depend on the misinterpretations of the Catholic church. The truth is out and there is no going back.

Catholic bow down to Mary idols.

  • Human reason itself teaches that if the Word of God is free from error (which Catholics do believe), it contains no real contradictions. Since the Bible clearly states in many passages that salvation is by faith alone and not by works (Romans 4:1-8; Galatians 5:1-6; Romans 10:4,11; Titus 3:5 and many more), James cannot be teaching that salvation is by works and not by faith alone.

  • Actually, when understood in their context, James and Paul complement each other. They are answering two different, yet related questions. In Romans and Galatians Paul is answering the question, “What must I do to be saved?”Paul demonstrates that no one can merit salvation by doing good works. Salvation is a gift of grace that God gives to those who have faith in Jesus.

  • James takes the next step by asking, “What does it mean to have faith?” He proves by his argument that genuine faith produces good works. Faith that does not work is not genuine. Thus he says, “Show me your faith without deeds and I will show you my faith by what I do (James 2:18)

  • Good works are the fruit of faith (James), but they are not the basis for forgiveness (Paul). Faith alone saves (Paul), but a faith that saves, works (James).

  • The faith we profess is useless when our works prove the contrary. James rightly speaks of the necessity of works as proof and result of true and living faith. James does not teach that we are justified by works (in front of God), but that good works justify us before men.

  • Therefore, James and Paul complement each other. Paul himself recognizes good works as the fruit of faith. While arguing that we are not saved by works (Ephesians 2:8-9), he agrees that we are saved to do good works (Ephesians 2:10).

  • I admire your ambition to contend for your faith, but you're mistaken when you say that the people who left the RCC to have a personal relationship with Jesus are doomed. I am among many who have taken the time to compare the Catechism with Scripture, and am amazed at how badly the RCC has perverted the perfect and sufficient Gospel of Jesus. To forsake a system that adds to and subtracts from His Gospel and to turn to the Word of God should not be condemned, but rather encouraged.

  • @douchebagenstein AMEN..YOU HAVE MY SUPPORT ON THIS...

  • Next time don't make this up for us. So, another thing protestant confuse is the term MEDIATRIX. They try to confuse the claim to mediator. again the same applies. You can see this in the other parts of this video series.

  • Your apologetic skills are amazing! The Holy Spirit has definitely given you a gift. Are you in seminary school? Have you felt the call to the priesthood?

  • No one denies that. Catholics are nice people. But they are doomed also. Anyone who has read the Bible can see that it preaches that salvation is only through faith in Jesus Christ. Never through prayers to Mary, worshiping some wafer called Eucharist, confessing to priests and lighting candles like all good Catholics do. Repent of your sins from your heart and ask God for forgiveness keeping Jesus as mediator who suffered for our sins. That's all.

  • @indianramazz Okay first of all...we never said the Bible preacher through "prayers to Mary." We don't worship Mary. And we also never taught that it's by "lighting candles." READ WHAT WE BELIEVE, ask us what we believe, not Jack Chick. And the Eucharist is entirely Biblical, besides the Last Supper, 1 Cor 10:16-21 1 Cor 11:23-30 and John 6:30-66 also confirms this. And the Bible does not preach that justification is by Faith alone. It says the exact opposite in James 2:24-26!

  • I mean *preaches

  • @DavidVelezPerez And the Bible does not preach that justification is by Faith alone. It says the exact opposite in James 2:24-26!HAVE YOU TAKEN THE EFFORT TO GET THE CONTEXT OF EPHESIANS 2:8-9 AND JAMES 2:24-26??BECAUSE YOU SEE, THE BIBLE CANNOT CONTRADICT ITSELF..LOOK AT THE CONTEXT..LOOK AT THE CONTEXT...INTERPRET A PASSAGE OF SCRIPTURE IN HARMONY WITH OTHER PASSAGES AND DON'T JUST MAKE AN IMMEDIATE CONCLUSION WITHOUT SCRUTINIZING THE CONTEXT.

  • @357archangel WRONG! Ephesians 2:8-9 was not talking about Faith ALONE. Yes it says we are not justified by works. But it means Faithless works or our own works. Yes, we are justified by faith and JUST by works. But we are also justified by WORKS with FAITH.

  • @DavidVelezPerez Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved, through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not by works, lest any man should boast. BUDDY DON'T TWIST GOD'S WORD JUST TO PROMOTE FALSE TEACHINGS.IT'S VERY VERY CLEAR THAT SALVATION IS "NOT BY WORKS".I HAVE ALREADY PROVEN THAT JAMES AND PAUL COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER..WHY DO YOU INSIST THAT THEY CONTRADICT EACH OTHER?DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT THE SCRIPTURE CONTRADICTS ITSELF?

  • @357archangel I haven't insistened ANYTHING, FROM WHAT YOU SAID, you make scripture look contradictary. Ephesians was talking about FAITHLESS works, OUR OWN works. Not all works. It was talking about the works of the law. But I would like for you to interpret was James 2:24 means.

  • @DavidVelezPerez BUDDY I DON'T MAKE SCRIPTURE LOOK CONTRADICTORY..I ALREADY EXPLAINED THAT PAUL AND JAMES COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER..THEY DON'T CONTRADICT EACH OTHER IN THEIR TEACHING ABOUT SALVATION..IT IS YOU THAT MAKES THEM CONTRADICTORY.HAVEN'T YOU READ MY COMMENTS BELOW?READ THEM THOROUGHLY AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND.I DON'T NEED TO FURTHER EXPLAIN THE WRITINGS OF JAMES BECAUSE I EXPLAINED IT ALREADY.

  • @DavidVelezPerez "you make scripture look contradictary." WRONG..HOW DID I MAKE SCRIPTURE CONTRARY IF I EXPLAINED HOW PAUL AND JAMES COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER?DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT PAUL'S TEACHING WITH REGARDS TO SALVATION IS DIFFERENT FROM JAMES?THERE MAY BE APPARENT CONTRADICTIONS, BUT THERE CAN BE NO REAL CONTRADICTIONS.

  • @DavidVelezPerez Gal 2:16 Yet we know that a person is put right with God only through faith in Jesus Christ, never by doing what the Law requires. We, too, have believed in Christ Jesus in order to be put right with God through our faith in Christ, and not by doing what the Law requires. For no one is put right with God by doing what the Law requires.

  • @DavidVelezPerez Gal 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.

  • @357archangel You honestly believe that Catholics just read over these passages or nothing. WE BELIEVE SALVATION IS THROUGH FAITH. And We DO NOT believe we can earn our way into Heaven, We believe good works WITH faith is God working through man. The passages you quote have to do with the Old works of the Jewish law (Torah) which we do not believe can save. So no, the Bible does not contradict itself. BUT you make it seem that way and you have STILL not given me your interpretation of James 2:24

  • @DavidVelezPerez Rom 4:4-5 "A person who works is paid wages, but they are not regarded as a gift; they are something that has been earned. But those who depend on faith, not on deeds, and who believe in the God who declares the guilty to be innocent, it is this faith that God takes into account in order to put them right with himself." SALVATION IS A GIFT TO BE RECEIVED BY FAITH, NOT A REWARD TO BE ACHIEVED BY WORKS.

  • @indianramazz we were not doomed. Mary is not called by Catholics ANOTHER redeemer or Co-redeemer. It is the silly term protestants made for Catholics. So it says co - REDEMTRIX not co - redeemer.

    The terms were completely different.

Co - redemtrix means that Mary participates in the the redemption being done by Christ. Jesus here was the Redeemer and Mary INTERCEDES to that process

Co - redeemer means having ANOTHER REDEEMER.

See where it differs totally? (continued)

  • YOU ARE THE MAN

  • Comment removed

  • This person has no clue about what the Bible preaches.

I believe muslims and catholics are the two religious groups that are brain washed totally. They are eternally doomed.

  • @indianramazz have you ever looked at what the Mormons and the JW'S believe in? I am personally not Catholic but they are some of the nicest people who I came across copares to those guys.

  • Transubstantiation is a fact just like the Trinity, and Christ being real man. Why these baptists fundamentalists, deny transubstantiation but accept the other puzzling trinity, and the Christ's true nature? Seriously, they're retarded, they're better off becoming an atheist or an agnostic. And transubstantiation means it becomes exactly the BOC outside space time. It's form remains in THIS dimension, but it's merely just the form of it, it's BOC!

  • 7:15 holy cow!!! You made a very very good point. I can't believe I missed it. Thanks Glenn for your insight.

  • St Paul to the Corinthians said:

For as often as you shall eat this bread and drink the chalice, you shall shew the death of the Lord, until He come. Therefore, whosoever shall eat this bread, or drnik the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the Body and of the Blood of the Lord.

If the Eucharist is nothing more than a symbol, the above from St. Paul is ridiculous. How could eating a memorial meal cause sickbness in people, and in some cases, death (as St. Paul says).

  • (continued) Christ then turned to His chose 12 and asked if they were going to leave Him like the others did. They did not, Peter answered for himself and the others and said they believe. Again, Christ doesn't explain what He "really" meant, because it was obvious what He really meant.

  • gospel of St. John 6:

except you eat the Flesh of the Son of man and drink His Blood, you shall not have life in you...For My flesh is meat indeed: and My Blood is drink indeed. He that eateth My Flesh and drinketh My Blood abideth inMe: and I in him...

Many therefor of his disciples, hearing it, said: This saying is hard; and who can hear it?

They heard what He said and knew what He meant by it, and they refused to believe Him. He did not explain what He meant. (continue)

  • ignatius of antioch (disciple of John the Apostle); 110 AD:

They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the flesh of our Savior Jesus Christ

Wherever the bishop appears, there let the people be; as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church

  • (7:40) John 13:5; Revelation 17:5.

  • Consider the expressions this is my body and this is my blood in the light of other vivid language used in the Scriptures. Jesus also said, I am the light of the world, I am the gate of the sheepfold, I am the true vine. (John 8:12; 10:7; 15:1, JB)

  • You are one fucking deluded dude!!!

  • God bless you.. and me... and all the protestants... who think they make great discoveries.

  • you're calling it crap to ask a very sensible question by a former nun (devouted catholic)!...Read God's Word, the Bible, not the man made catholic cathecism...again go back to the God's Word...your religion can't save you.

  • wow ur dum. repeat all ur told. thats great. "um i don't think i'm violating any rules"

  • Not refuted, by far...

    RCC is not scriptural.

    You choose.

  • I can tell you that most Lutheran Synods believe in the literal presents of Christ in the bread in wine because it is clear about that in the Eucharist so he was wrong about that...looking forward to the rest of your vids

  • Anticatholic? That is heretical. Now Anti-Roman Catholic is something else entirely.

  • you cannot be Anti- Roman Catholic without being anti catholic. Protestants and all those who reject the papacy are not Catholic in anyway shape or form. sorry.

  • Catholic simply means universal. As a protestant follower of Jesus Christ I belong to the 1 holy catholic and apostolic church and hold to the great creeds of christendom since they are supported by scripture. The Roman Catholic church is the denomination itself. Ignatius makes refrence to the catholic church, yet NEVER says that the bishop of rome is the head of the catholic church. Why?

  • Ignatius throughout his letters gives us many images of what the Catholic church looks like they have bishops with real jurisdictional authority, worship centered around the Eucharist which they believed was the actual body and blood of Christ, and actually Ignatius does say that the Church of Rome has authority over all the other churches. The Early Church fathers agreed with all Catholic teaching. protestants like to quote mine them but ot no avail.

  • I have ALL of St. Ignatius writings. Can you please document where in any of his 7 letters does he mention "the Church of Rome has authority over all the other churches." Or that the bishop of Rome isthe head of the church?

Don't get me wrong. I believe there are RC's who's hearts are right with God. But I find no evidence that Rome was THE church or that we need to be subject to a Roman Pontiff.

  • "Ignatius . . . to the church also which holds the presidency, in the location of the country of the Romans, worthy of God, worthy of honor, worthy of blessing, worthy of praise, worthy of success, worthy of sanctification, and, because you hold the presidency in love, named after Christ and named after the Father" (Letter to the Romans 1:1 [A.D. 110]).

Ignatius says that the Church of Rome holds the presidency over the other churches.

  • Ignatius' letter to the Romans describes Rome as 'presiding' in the 'region of the Romans' and is 'named from Christ'. How protestors can ignore the implication of this salutation is shocking. Like it or not, Rome was/is the seat of Christendom whether the protestors like the thought of it or not.

  • Oct31: No, you are a protestor who has watered down the meaning of both terms. You are neither within an 'Apostolic Church' nor a 'Catholic Church' unless you are Roman or Greek. If you have such a hard objection to Papal Authority, then go to a Greek Church, but protestants are NOT Catholic in any sense.

  • And the catholic faith is this: That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity.

This is my God. How can you say we are not catholic. We hold to the creeds of the historic christian church.

  • no you don't. You deny baptismal regenration, the resl presnece of Christ in the Eucahrist, the priesthood among other things. Yes the trinity is Catholic truth and probably the greatest truth in the universe but its not all thats required to be Catholic

  • Many heretical cults would make the same profession of faith. I wouldn't disagree that you mention a core pre-requisite to being Catholic, but accepting Trinity is only one part of the Deposit of Faith. OTC lists a few, that if denied by your church, would make its teachings anathema.

  • October31st1517 - And your "Sola Fide" and "Sola Scriptura" also makes you NON Catholic.

Neither the Roman and nor the Orthodox Catholic churches follow the "Sola Fide" and "Sola Scriptura".

  • "a thought went through my mind for the first time"... LOL

  • I follow the bible. I am a christian does that make me a herotic?

for following the word of God that makes me a herotic?

for obeying the gospel that makes me a herotic?

for obeying God rather than men - acts 5:29

    that makes me a herotic?

i would like an answer and an explanation =)

  • Thank you for posting this wonderful, faithful response!

  • THe bible is'nt the final authority cause it is fallible. Which is why We catholics have both the bible and our traditions passes down from the first christians

  • If you beleive the Bible is fallible then your faith is also fallible. The Bible says,"Do not put your trust in princes,in mortal men, who cannot save."(Psalm 146:3) Now, you are more than welcome to believe in the early Christians and their traditions, but I rather beleive in the Holy Book.

  • nope my faith is infallible

  • Well I am truly sorry to hear that you dont beleive the Bible is the final authority over your soul or the infallibe, inerrant word of God. I mean I beleive the Bible to be true even enuff to die for it. Although I dont agree with RomanCatholics, I always thought we shared that beleif in common. I guess I was wrong, and if all Catholics think the same way you do I feel evenmore comfortable than I already was knowing the truth.

  • In the wise words of Paul,"I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth"(Rm.1:16) Also you accuse me of forcing people to beleive in what I beleive. No, I assure you I dont. I am not an inquisitor, but I am required to preach the gospel as the Lord commands.(Mark 16:15) If they dont beleive, I shake the dust off my feet and I move on to the next person.

  • ur quote from proverbs is a great one, i also love acts 5:29 =)

  • You don't make sense really. The early christians came before the bible. And not the other way around. it's the early christians who chose to compile it into a book called the bible. the bible is not infallible and inerrant word of god. you think that god's message can be put into just one book. if anything the bible is fallible and errant. you wouldn't know the truth if it had hit you on the head.

  • Wrong! The Bible is the true word of God. For there is no other book in history that was written by 40 different authors from different parts of the continent who wrote about the same thing without contradicting each other. The Old Testament was fulfilled and it came before the apostles, and they were the only eye witnesses who saw Christ crucified and ressurect. Although they wrote in different perspective they still record the same events, and they died for it

  • No one dies for a lie. So, there is plenty of evidence that proves the Bible is no ordinary Book.

  • Im really shocked that I am explaining all this to a Catholic. Usually, I explain all this to athiests. This cannot be possible. I refuse to beleive that all Catholics would agree with you, or that your preist would teach you that the Bible is not accurate.

  • Also, I forgot and I am still shocked again to mention that every unbias scholar, archaeologist, and any expert will and has admitted that every historical evidence found has not contradicted what is written in the Bible. In fact, when Daniel prophecied that Babylon will never be rebuilt, Saddam Hussein tried to rebuild it, but his project was cut short with this death. So, when you say the Bible is fallible or errant, well the records disagree with you on that one.

  • the bible is NOT fallible. Both scripture and tradition are infallible rules of faith

  • I don't know If you know much about the Episcopal Church past all the political stuff going on right now in it but, I really like the idea of Communion being the actual body and blood of Jesus Christ. I have seen some stuff with Eucharistic miracles going on in the Catholic church. Anyway i do however have a problem with Catholics not allowing priests to marry, I believe it should be a choice. Also I am divided on whether women should be ordained or not? What do you think?

  • about your comment on ordanined women

    1 Timothy 2:1112 (NIV)

and even on to verse 13 or 14

it wasnt a matter of culture then either, Paul refers to creation hope this helped!

  • yea you want all men to be saved. therefore u disrespect their believes and try and force your believe on them yea.

  • The Bible stated, that the "whore of Babylon" was drunk with the blood of the saints(Inquisition,Crusades), and then later she would be killed by the beast she sits on and stripped naked. Today, we see the Catholic Church being stripped naked. The Catholic church has pagan origins similar to the Babylonian culture. Hence, the "Whore of Babylon" My mom was raised Catholic all her life until she realized that there is nothing Christian about this. It is absolutely anti-Christ.

  • But the Catholic religion isn't the only one. The Bible says there will be many false prophets and many anti-Christs that will even the most elect. We see this today. I strongly believe the Word of God is the truth, but I dont believe in religions. For crying out-loud, most churches dont even keep the Sabbath anymore.

  • "that will even deceive the most elect." Sorry, skipped a word, but you get the idea. I only follow what the Bible says. It is religion that has made everyone think that there is no truth in the Bible, but I see everything the Bible has predicted that would happening right now. You all have been warned.

  • He did a great reply to the Whore of Babylon you should check it out I'm not saying that the Catholic Church is right but he as a great video on the Whore

  • obviously ur ignorance of the history of the catholic church can bee seen from what u wrote. The catholic church is the church which jesus had founded 200 yrs back and will continue to be that church. we catholics are the church

  • No, I am very well aware of the strawman that Catholics make that Peter was the first Pope just because he died in Rome and bc they think Peter is the rock that Christ formed the Church on. When the scriptures are clear when it says bc he knew without flesh and blood revealing unto him that Christ was the Son of God, and on that truth on this rock God will form his church, not on Peter. But even if it was on Peter that Christ formed the church where does the word Catholic appear in the Bible?

  • If Catholicism is the true church, the name should've been mentioned in the Bible. Oh, just to save you time. I already know katholiken means universal church, but that still doesnt prove anything. God didnt label His church with any name or denomination. Heres what Christ really says about what a church is, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them"Matt.18:20 So we dont need a name or a multitude inside a building to call it a church.

  • If you can find the word "Catholic" written in the Bible. Then I will become a Catholic. I mean if it is the true Church it should be written and mentioned in the Bible, am I right? Btw, I am currently debating this same issue with another Catholic and he is running out excuses, so I wish you the best of luck bc I think I've just about heard it all.

  • the word "catholic" simply means universal which Christ clearly taught that the church was. btw. the words "trinity", "incarnation", "bible" ect. arn't found in the bible either

  • it makes no sense for Jesus to rename him Peter (which means Rock) if He is not the rock being talked about in the passage. also the words for "this rock" in greek is "tau tee petra" which literally means "on this very rock". So what Jesus said to simon was "You are rock and on this very rock i will build my church". Obviously it is peter that is being referred to here.

  • Ive heard all this before my mom who used to be a Catholic explained all this to me as well as alot of Catholics. I still do not see why the Catholicism is the true church it still unclear why I must become a Catholic to be saved, when Christ clearly says all you need to do is be born again of water and spirit. In Acts 2:38, Peter instructs us how to do just that. I did all that, so why am I a heretic?

  • Plus, alot of the rituals Cath priests do, is not found anywhere in the Bible. For one they dont keep the Sabbath. Peter and all the apostles still kept the Sabbath, but I dont judge you guys bc even protestant xians dont keep it either. 2nd, in the Dignity n Duties of the priests, Ch. 1 Part 3 it says, "God is obliged to abide by the judgement of His priests." No offense, but that sounds blasphemous. Where does the Bible condone that activity?

  • Also, I know the word trinity, incarnation, Bible isnt found in the Bible. I still do not see how that jusities anything about the Catholic being the one true church. Even Christ Himself said that where there is 2 or 3 people worshiping His name, He is there, and there is no specific name or denomination. Also, in 1 Timothy 2:5, it clearly says we only have 1 mediator and that is Christ Jesus. So confessing to a man contradicts that verse. These are things that catolics go thru hoops to explain

  • You think this the only documentary that bashes the preists? You should watch "Deliver us from evil", and it shows all the money spent to cover up for the pedophile preists. A true church would cast these sickos out of the church, not keep them in preisthood. Im sorry I am really finding it very hard to beleive this is what Christ had in mind as a what a true church is. Just to show you I am fair, I know there are also bad fruits in Pro-xian churches too. I dont defend them either.

  • the church is perfect but its members are not. the poor behavior of certain individuals, even those in leadership positions, is no excuse not to be catholic or to accept the catholic faith. Just as you can't say that Christianity is wrong because members within have been corrupt

  • Exactly but there can't be many denominations claiming to be the ministry as jesus said that his ministry would be one. for he one mediators, catholics believe that jesus is the mediator to god but mother mary acts as a co mediator to jesus who. The bible says in matthew 16:19 to prove priest being able to forgive sins " and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

  • I agree that God wants to create a universal church that glorifies Him. However, if one denomination claims they are it, that's when I ask how do you know? Bc everyone is claiming the same thing. The Bible lets us know. His church are all those who keep His commandments. I honestly dont care if you're RC or Pro-xian. You know you are His or not, when you are the same in your Church and outside it. Bc I gotta tell you Ive seen RC's behave alot better than some of my fellow xians.

  • When the time comes, whether you are a RomanCatholic or Protestant it doesnt matter. We all will have to make a choice, Bible or traditions. As it is written, even if an angel says something contrary to what is written may he be accursed. When we all observe and investigate everything that our congregation is doing, that will be the first step into becoming 1 body. I give protestants and catholics the same advice, dont fall in love with your church. Focus only on the Bible, you cant go wrong.

  • you wouldn't even have a bible if it wearn't for the catholic church

  • you contradict. The catholic church teaches the original teaching of jesus. Fine you can believe what you one but stop criticising what other people believe. Both the bible and the traditions are important as those traditions were traditions handed down by jesus to us.

  • obviously what peter is talking about in Acts 2:38 are the initial acts that a person must do. But that doesn't mean that after baptism a person is done. Rather, he must persevere his whole life in the teachings of the Church. Jesus said that we have to observe all that he has commanded us. not simply faith and baptism only.

  • I completely agree that its not just by faith alone, works also do count. However, I disagree with your statement about why we have Bibles today. Bc you forget it was 40 Jewish authors in different parts of the continent who wrote the Bible. They desreve the credit, not the RCC. The Papacy kept the Bibles hidden from the common folk. If it wasnt for those who protestested, you and I wouldnt have the freedom to own a Bible.

  • You also forget that it wasnt any early church who gave the Bible to us. Thus saith the Lord, "All scripture is GIVEN by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.(2 Timothy 3:16) So, it was God who gave us the Bible. To God be the glory, or have you forgotten that?

  • When the books of the Bible were originally written, they did not contain chapter or verse references. The chapter divisions commonly used today were developed by Stephen Langton, an Archbishop of Canterbury. Langton put the modern chapter divisions into place in around A.D. 1227.OT was divided into verses by a Jewish rabbi by the name of Nathan in A.D.1448. Robert Estienne, who was also known as Stephanus, was the first to divide the NT into standard numbered verses, in 1555. See? The Jews helped

  • I have nothing against Catholics. I do have something against the system. The system who thinks that they own the Word of God. Just like I have nothing against atheists, I do have something against this whole "we own science" attitude. Thats what your church has in common with them. So I protest against kind of arrogance. Thats why I consider myself a protestant. Christ died for whosoever beleiveth in Him, and on that rock, is where Christ builds His church. AMEN!

  • Catholic church arrogant. huh i see more arrogance in protestants , narrow minded people claiming that what they believe is the only truth and other faiths or religions are wrong. FYI it does'nt mean that if u don't understand another persons faith means that it is wrong. The catholic church is the most loving church that i've ever been too really showing god's love for us in action

  • You said, "FYI it does'nt mean that if u don't understand another persons faith means that it is wrong." My sentiments exactly. As it is written, "And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful" (2Tim2:24) So if we are all servants the Lord we should all get along. If thats feel thats true, then why did the Papacy kill all those Jews as well as other fellow servants of the Lord?

  • yes but it does'nt say to take the bible as the final authority does it !! no it doesn't . and do u have proof that the bible contains the complete word of god.

  • If the 2Tim3:16 says, ALL scripture is God-breathed, inspired, and given to us by God Himself, and if it is used for instruction to righteousness, then it is clear that we should accept it as a final authority.

  • Also, 2 Peter 1:19-20 says, "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation" So there you go, from the Bible, its clear. We must accept the Bible as the final authority.

  • Also, I dont tell Catholics that Protestant is the true church, or that Christianity is the true faith. In fact, tell everyone they must become Jewish to saved. It says it in the Bible, "But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."(Romans 2:29) So we must become circumcised inwardly in our hearts. So we are to become neither RCC or Christian, but a Jew.(inwardly) Thats the true church

  • God has promised to save "Israel" from slavery. However, its not Israel the country. What use does God have with dirt. Israel is not the "what", but the "who" Israel litterally means,"One who wrestles with God" So if you are not perservering and/or wrestling with God, guess what? I dont think He is going to save you."The Lord knoweth them that are his"(2Timothy 2:19)

  • The Jews are saved by KEEPING THE LAW under the old covenant God has made with them. We, the gentiles, are saved by KEEPING THE LAW under the new covenant God has made with us. I dont what Catholics beleive, but most Protestants, maybe not all, beleive the Jews are still going to Heaven bc God never breaks His promise to His people. However, the penalty for the gentile is the same for the Jew if both go astray from the faith.

  • So I dont see how I am being arrogant when I say that it doesnt matter if you're a RCC, Protestant, Jew, or what have you. If you, the individual, do not "bind up the testimony, seal the law among my(His) disciples." (Isaiah 8:16) then I seal you to your fate. Im not the judge, I am under the book just like you. I want what everyone wants, I want all man to be saved.

  • Ah that's where you are assuming that means that it is to be taken as the final authority. Never assume. like i said it doesn't say that the bible is the final authority.

  • How am I assuming? If you're a Christian, you dont assume the Bible is your final authority, you know its the final authority over you. Just like the Qu'ran is the authority over a Muslim, or the Torah is the final authority over the Jewish. If you're Christian, and you are not sure whether or not the Bible is your final authority, you might as well admit that you're not sure if you're a Christian then. It's only logical.

  • Also in the koine greek dialect there is no distinction between petros and petra they both mean rock/stone not "little pebble" or anything like that

  • It is obvius that U need 2 study your religion more throughly.compair iot with the writen word 4 catholoism counterdics the writen word U violate 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 6th 7th 8th Commands U have made the 10th com. in2 2 2 replace the 2nd command every object in your faith comes from pagen worship your faith stems from pagen worship every bi9t of what i stated can effortlesly B proven with no difaculty

  • the X - nun is spot on, Jesus isnt in the waffer, its not to be taken litterally.

Catholics have chosen to take this as literal because the catholic use this lie to perpetuate the false catholic doctrine of Jesus being present...

Jesus says that he is a vine and a door ect IS jesus these litterally !! Of cource NOT

mass doesnt save you nor give you eternal life - - prove me wrong regards

  • Prove you wrong?

    Okay!

The writings of the early Christians and early Church Fathers all endorse transubstantiation.

  • The decree set forth in the year 1229 A.D. by the Council of Valencia... places Bible on The Index of Forbidden Books. "it is forbidden for laymen (common man) to read the Old and New Testaments. - We forbid them most severely to have the above books in the popular vernacular." "The lords of the districts shall carefully seek out the heretics in dwellings, hovels, and forests, and even their underground retreats shall be entirely wiped out." Council Tolosanum, Pope Gregory IX, Anno. Chr. 1229

  • Question: why do you say the only thing they have is a personal relationship with the devil? I agree with everything you say but can't quite get why you said that.

  • Why do we bash each other when Jesus says love your neighbor as yourself. Common why cant we just put our differences aside all be friends =(

  • Yes, go tell that to your fellow Evangelicals who keep publishing Jack Chick publications and keep calling the Catholic Church the Whore of Babylon. The bashing comes solely from YOUR side. We Catholics are just *defending* ourselves- something we have a right to do.

  • Pope hating protestant schismatics and the Freemasons are behind all this anti-Catholic nonsense. Who cares what they think? They have no divine authority.

  • You compare the transubstation with Jesus. You said that if you don´t believe in the
