good idea but man i could have had the vehicle jacked, wheels off, tyre changed and re fitted in the 4 mins it took him to just change the tyre useing this machine
these machines are great,i just started using one, after 20 years of doing it the hard way,no lifting and i don't even raise a sweat.every tire /tyre shop that does trucks should have one
they only do this because doing it the old fashion way involves too much bending over which leads to back problems and then the person with the back problems can sue the company for bad work ethics/practises.
why the hell doing it by hand when you have a machine that can do it for you just as well when you're inside a garage? Some of you, i wanna see you guys change that kind of tire within 30 sec (taking off and putting back), so you're free to show us.

I work at a tire shop, and we have a machine similar to that, and I am pretty sure that it has never changed a single truck tire. We use it for ag tires only, because it is so much faster to do truck tires by hand. I am a little guy (120 lbs), and I can have a tire dismounted in less than 30 seconds, and can have one mounted in about 20 seconds, which pretty much means that I could have the tire aired up and on the truck before this guy would even have the wheel on the machine.
that machine is useless on the road, hell i could change 6 of them damn things by the time he is done with just that 1 and that would be on a very slow day
omg i could do 12 11r 22.5 in the time it took him....... and balance them......waste of $15000 on a uslss mavhine so u dont het ur hands dirty..... i think you would hsve more chance in tearing a bead with this machine
till you've had to do that job without that machine or had to pay someone else to do it. won't be so boring then. that machine is damn near worth its weight in gold, brother.

There are MUCH faster machines than that. And yes you can do it faster by hand. TNT makes some great tire dismounting tools too.
