@imnogod Well, a "pure" isnt nessesarily 1 defence pure. theres berserker which has 45 defence, initiate pure with 20, black pure with 10, steel with 5, theres lots of different pures. a 1 defence pure would have 1 defence though

@TeamApparition Finally someone else has it right... a PURE is someone going 1 way. like an angel is pure because he/she is not evil in ANY way.(i don't believe in angels, its just an easy example) so the certain pures would be like. Attack Pure, Strength Pure, Defence Pure, Range Pure, Mage Pure, Prayer Pure, Summoning Pure. Those are just the ones that give combat levels, Hp Pure could be considered one, but Hp doesnt alter your stats or let you wear something or boost you, so exclude that.

"pure" originates from rsc - thus iron pure, steel pure, black pure, pure as in 1 attack style maxed out, such as 40-99-1, range level not mattering, 31 prayer was mostly popular, 1 mage because u got combat levels from it.

We've sort of lost the point of pure, they are just pkers - barrows pure? what the fuck? 75 defence pure? If im 99 defence does this make me a primal pure? this is all nonsense. 33 def 95 pray is as far away from pure as you can be, what you call yourself is irrelevant.

back in the day a true pure in rsc was 40 attack 99 strength 1 defence 1 prayer and so on. my chracter is a barrows pure at 97 attk 99 str 70 def 70 pray. with new additions to the game new pures have been an option, such as turmoil pure. its just a strategy. if your stats are balanced then you are not pure. 1 def was the original, but many have stemmed from it. turmoil, rune pure, zerker pure, barrows pure, initiate pure.
