Actually, we Pandits also use the word "Naar" for Fire. The only time we use the word "Agun" is when we're talking about Agni (small bon fire) for our Religious ceremony. Otherwise, we ALWAYS say "Naar" especially when we are talking about something catching on fire.......But we Pandits and Muslims do use different words for "Water." While Muslims use the Farsi word "Aab" to denote water, us Pandits use the word "Poyn" for regular water and "threysh" specifically for drinking water.
