good job man. keep practicing. now i know there is no wrong way to play the bass, but try and work on your right hand positioning. it could make playing a lot easier and comfortable. i prefer to rest my thumb on the pick up closest to the neck and i pluck with my pointer and middle.

Good selection of beginer songs. As a couple of little pieces of advice, you might want to work on alternating your fingers a bit better. Also, make sure you clip you nails really short. Depending on how your fingertips are built, even a little bit of nail is going to catch on the strings and alter your sound.

also notice the dots on the neck...second dot up is the same as the next string

@19caleb96 First of all, there is no B#. if you werent retarded, you'd know that b# is just C. There is however an a#.. but of course you would need to have a BASIC knowledge of music notes to know that. B goes straight to C, just like E goes straight to F.

Oh, and as for your closing bit of stupid, Up is NOT down. an infant could tell you that. up is higher pitch, and down is lower pitch.
