Back when the game came out, it was phenomenal. We were playing a game that was so far ahead of it's time, captured the hearts and minds of so many people and has inspired so many success stories. I still love PSO, and I'm pretty sure I always will. I hope this gets a console release, as it's only been confirmed for PC. It would be a travesty to see the original console MMO taken off of consoles. I honestly cannot wait to play this, but I still want PSO v2 for XBLA, just for the fact it's PSO!!!

I'm a massive fan of PSO. Was online back in the dreamcast days, and still play the DC, Gamecube and PC version to this day. And I say this game looks to missing the feeling of the originals. It all seems to hectic, and the visuals aren't as colourful and vibrant, and the locations look to wide and sparse. I feel this probably won't capture the same magic as the original.

@Terramax No matter how good it is, I'm not sure they can even capture the magic. When I think back on PSO, I get HUGE feelings of nostalgia. Back in 2000, online games were fairly new, so it was like going into a whole new world.

This game is not related to PSU, there is no Gurhal. If anything this is related to PSO and PS as one of the 100 world ships that left Parum thousands of years ago and we are now seeing what they developed to.

I'm placing bets on either a colonized Ragol, or back at Coral.

This is definitely the coolest trailer yet. I really hope that planet was supposed to be Parum, I’d love to have a few missions in a post-apocalyptic Gurhal System. And that shot at the end of what I assume is the Oracle fleet… they all looked extremely similar to the Pioneer 2. How cool would it be if that was actually the final wave carrying all of the refugees from Coral to Ragol and wasn’t actually Arks or Oracle?
