I got to the boss by jumping off of the ledge and coming down w/ my sword just like in the video but I'm sure that's a shortcut. I'm curious how one would get to the boss the normal way.

3 heart challenge. Getting the heart containers at the end of each temple takes a bit of time, and not getting any of the containers can probably save about a minute total.
