What people really mean when they say they have the "Right" to healthcare, is that they believe they are "Entitled" to healthcare. There is a major difference.

Of course you have the right to buy *anything* you want in a "completely free market".

That doesn't mean that your neighbor can be forced under the threat of jail/tazer/gunpoint to pay for your purchase. That's called theft when anyone but the Government does it.

Goverment run healtcare works all around Europe. Here in Sweden we dont have to pay more then 150$ a year maximum for the best healt care, and 250$ / year for drugs.

Am I nuts? MY MOTHER DIED because of the inability to pay for healthcare. Yes OBAMA is right, the healthcare system is fucked up, yes it needs improvement. Stop panicking congress is slaving over the bill for a reason, they are trying to get it just right!! I think its a damn shame that the suggestion for lowering tax deductions for richer folk was rejected, if you do your research that is how the new healthcare system was to be paid.

@fsphotosu Canada is not that bad for a few reasons:

a) They have social medicine for everyone

b) They also have private health coverage for those who want it

So Canada is not that bad. Its free when you need it, but if you'd rather pay private you can do that too.
