  • Keith Partridge was a boy compared to this guy. He was all man! I remember seeing this performance when I was ten. Oh, but I had a crush on him!

  • @sfierymountain you are so right!

  • LOVE the hip swivel! I want to try that. ha ha ha. Love this song

  • One of A. M. radios finest songs.

  • see, that's what keith partridge needed. more babes dancin' behind him...

  • Isn't odd that for the past forty years, teen idols have basically the same hair. Bobby Sherman, David Cassidy, Shaun Cassidy and now...Justin Bieber. The lengths may be different, but it is the same haircut.

  • Oh my. I don't think I've seen this video since the 70s. Yes the leather. It looks very uncomfortable. Might be why he didn't move around too much. Skin tight leather was required by the heartthrobs of the day. They all had it. Great video. Takes me back.

  • I was such a fan I am now looking for his LP at used record shops because I didn't have one growing up. I am in my fifties and I still think he was fine just like butter. Look Justin Bieber had his haircut.

  • wow! brings me back, got this album still, now im 50 and i think that i might have a 45 cut out of the rasin bran box. back in the day they would put a 45 on a cereal box for the kids. well im a big kid now

  • I loved Bobby Sherman when I was young. I had all his records and posters of him all over my room. I played his recors so much it drove my family nuts. It was great seeing this clip...and it also made me feel hideously old!

  • lord help me!!! look at that hip action!!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOO I wonder if he still can do that!!!!

  • Bobby Sherman is now a cop.

  • @introducing68

    He's an EMT.

  • I think Bobby had his pants spray painted on him WHOA.

  • The two blonde girls are beautiful!

  • My mom took me to see Bobby in concert. I was a major fan of "Here Come the Brides", and bought all his records. He was adorable, and so nice. Paul McCartney was my great love, then Mike Nesmith, Bobby and Mark Lindsay. Thank you, 16 Magazine, for all the posters!

  • Singers were a lot better looking back then. Bobby and Mark Lindsay are even better looking than some female singers of today and that's not saying much.

  • @MrRaiderfan1000 those were my two faves

  • hes soooo adorable mmmm :)

  • The Justin Bieber of the late 60's!

  • @MrRaiderfan1000 no, Bobby had talent......

  • @horseman420 I did not mention talent. It's In relations to appeal with the little girls!

  • @MrRaiderfan1000 EXACTLY! :D

  • I used to think he was so cute! Wonder if he still is.

  • @spikelilgirl not really, he is just an average guy, and is now a cop :D

  • @Themittens2010 He is not a cop, he is an EMT

  • @brendalg4 no he is in the LAPD right now.

  • @Themittens2010 Sorry I guess my info was old. Thanks for the info you provided in email.. I didn't know about all that stuff.

  • is he still alive?

  • @tendarine1 yes he is; he just turned 68 and looks and sounds better than ever.

  • Have always loved Bobby always will.

  • Axel Rose stole Bobby's moves

  • does anyone remember when bobby sherman hid out in partridge family's garage?

  • @JDeGroom oh yeah, just watched it "knight in shining armor" on youtube. I gotta kick out of the him drinking the milk off the porch at the beginning. The days when milkmen still left glass bottles of milk on porches!!!

  • this song is hard to sing because it has lots of sharp notes

  • I had a crush on him as only a 10 year old can.

  • You could actually get this 45 on the back of Honeycomb cereal boxes, you just had to cut it out. Of course it sounded pretty crummy and lasted for about 3 plays but we thought it was the coolest.

  • @WH32290 I remember those!

  • If you like Bobby Sherman, you'll probably like listening to my bubblegum music radio show "Echo Valley". It's online, free and just for fun. I play Bobby almost every show! Google " echo valley bubblegum " and you'll find it! :)

  • marge simpsons big crush

  • @deadeyeslave it's the crush that never ends. If you look around you'll find a lot of women who watch his videos have been his fans over 40 years. There's an episode of frasier where Roz had some hangup over not getting to see Bobby at a shopping mall opening & he shows up at the end like an afterthought. He has some kind of mystical effect on the libido of many women.

  • "She wasn't kind, I wasn't smart. I lost my mind, and cut a fart." That was how I used to sing this song when it came out in 1970. I was 7, my two sisters were 11 and 12, and I had to hear this record ten times a day. My dad thought I was funny, my mom used an 18" ruler on me. Oh, the generational differences!!!! LOL!!!!

  • @DRStidom Don't forget THE FRINGE!!! Funny thing is.... I grew up thinking the words were "....I felt a fart...."

I feel your pain. Literally. Mom used one of Dad's 3" wide leather belts on me...

  • @DRStidom u r comment is way funny,,,thanks for the laugh

  • I had his poster on my wall when I was 10. What a babe he was! He rocks that fringed shirt!

  • Right out Shel

  • I never tire of seeing the Bobby in living color here on UTube. I even bought a big 27" imac just to see his clips. It was the first thing I punched up. I guess Apple can thank Bobby for closing that sale!

  • @pjgumby wow pj you got it worse than i do. good choice on computers btw. you have flawless taste : )have you seen the cry like a baby video on mobirock videos? he's so kind to his fans. on that rosie odonnell interview he called us (when we were young girls) impressionable and creative. I was certainly impressionable because it's over 40 yrs later & I'll still think he's the best thing since duct tape, even now that he's what 68? i still find him extremely attractive.

  • @greenpilgrim50 I saw that interview with Rosie and thought it was wonderful, and what's amazing that even though he's older it didn't alter his singing voice, but more than anything, he was still as handsome, and just as sexy as he was back in the day. I have to check out that other video on Mobirock, didn't see that one. Peace, love, and Bobby Sherman to you!

  • I fell in love with him on HERE COME THE BRIDES, and kept falling in love with the songs he sang especially this one since it's my favorite.

  • I wonder whose idea it was to unbutton yet one more...revealing that lovely hairless chest?? Good 70s times...

  • Gosh, he was a dream AND on "Here come the brides"

  • Happy Birthday Bobby....belated wishes....July 22, 2011.

  • Happy Birthday! I had such a crush on him when I was growing up....still do... lol

  • Happy 68th Birthday, Bobby! Still lookin' good!

  • Makes me feel like I was 14 again. He was one of the guys I could actually watch! My Dad never let me watch Elvis, but Bobby was okay to watch! LOL

  • @donelleruthart haha, that's hilarious, little did he know about bobby's magical powers. My dad would've died if he'd known the affect bobby had on me. He even let me go see him in concert when i was 13 and my dad never let me do anything! He must've thought it totally harmless while bobby was escorting me into womanhood, LOL.

  • @basdenbondinfo I know I am his soul mate but sadly I never got to meet him. I never married, I suppose no one ever appealed to me enough to take that step. I don't regret not ever being married, though I did have one child. But Bobby I knew was it and I missed the boat, not that I ever had a chance. And Bobby in his day wasn't cheesy! Berber cheesy, Bobby, retro, cool...

  • @pjgumby i think many of bobby's fans really love him which is unusual. Bobby's fans of over 40 years prove there's something special about Bobby.Bobby was considered "cheesy" by a lot of people. My brothers never tired of making fun of Bobby & my mad crush on him. I wished I had of known then that Bobby owned the plane the groups they listened to rented for concert tours!ha!!Maybe he wasn't slimey or dark enough for them but he was making all the money!

  • @GiGi32250 Your father was a wise and wonderful man who went out of his way to appease a love struck female! Your brother's are something else! But what a sweet story, I remember that box of cereal too . I cut it out and put in my Bobby Sherman scrap book. Wish I still had it! It was so long ago, but I still remember.

  • first record I ever bought.

  • listen to Winger's Easy Come Easy go, you'll like it better!

  • @basdenbondinfo Interesting, but just so you know, I wasn't making fun of him, just commenting on the fleeting nature of frenetic fame.

  • I love the leather pants and the hip swivel!!!

  • @dawnarie61 Yeah me too I wonder if he can still move like that :-)

  • Seriously, this man looks EXACTLY like my dentist ! Except for the leather pants and fringed shirt ! But I'm thinking he would look awesome if he started dressing like that ! I'd make appointments more often !

  • @lakeladymel Tell me where u live. I wanat to go to your dentist!!!

  • @lakeladymel uh, who's your dentist?

  • Comment removed

  • @lakeladymel Sooo where exactly is this dentist???!

  • He was "discovered" (in many ways) by Sal Mineo!!!

  • @koln1996 buuuuuutt sex!

  • Pop stars: easy come, easy go.

  • great time for music and culture....not like today.

  • this is better than any song of 2011!

  • Looks kind of gay now, especially with the fringy sleeves...

  • @znarf541 well you better be careful dissin bobby around me and pjgumby! we're pretty defensive over our man, haha! and i like that shirt.

  • @bgreenpilgrim50 You're darn right, I can't believe anyone can say anything bad about our Bobby, because there's is nothing bad about him! Some guys are still jealous.

  • @greenpilgrim50 darn right!!!

  • @znarf541 that was just the style of the day, decade, Things were so different back then. I miss those times.

  • @berlits Late 60s-early 70s, easier? Ha ha ha ha

  • Wow, Dig that choreography in the background! I used to have such a crush on him!!

  • America's answer to Davy Jones!!

My sister used to be nuts over Bobby!!!! She had quite a few of his records and got quite a few of them sticky, if you know what I mean! ;-)

I think my faves of his were, "Julie, Do You Love Me?", and, "The Drum". I haven't heard either one in DECADES!!

  • Love the clothes & the way he dances. My first crush too!

  • I WAS A KID .. A KINDA REMEMBER HIM, AS A BLACK WOMEN I MUST SAY THAT MY PEOPLE LIKE DAVE CASSIDY..HE HAD SOUL. SOUNDED BLACK

  • The first 45 I ever bought...sigh...I'm so middle-aged...thanks for posting!

  • My very first crush :)

  • @berlits Man, you have really captured the feeling- I recall tape recording a song and then playing the record and then the tape a half second later to get my own stereo. Lol. There's still something about the way a record sounded. . .

  • the hairstyle & the crisp silk shirt werent woodstock, but cool still

  • every time i take a shave outta the sun, i think of this song, 40 yrs now.

  • My old heart throb living in utube after all these years! God what a handsome man he was! You have to admit that with that voice and that face a lot swooning of females went on, myself included. I haven't swooned in ages, but Bobby just did it for me!

  • @pjgumby haha, i just stumbled by here and thought that mad crush i had at 13 was just hormonal but WOW! He really was sexy as, well, you know. My goodness! He was too goodlooking. WOW!

  • @greenpilgrim50 Yes, I always thought that my taste in men would change over time, but after looking at Bobby's baby blue eyes, and that handsome face, it still does something for me. Of course we'll be ladies and not elaborate too much on the effect that he has on a female's libido. No need to get graphic, but he was so handsome, so manly, got to admit that. He was handsome and gallant, and such a beautiful young man, what healthy female wouldn't fall for those amazing blue eyes.....

  • @pjgumby ok hes cute, but manly? lets go with the in ur face bad boy like jimmy from the doors! my idol.

  • @tommieparch That's fine for you guys who get off on that sort of thing, but Bobby knew his customer base who was wild adolescent. hormonal fueled females who swooned over every thing he did. And we did. Not all females are impressed with bad boys, they generally make bad future husbands. Contrary to popular belief most females prefer males that won't bash their heads in.

  • @pjgumby yeah ,i know that, like davy jones & donny & david cassidy, i have bobbys greatest hits., i was just kiddin , cause i got called a copy of those guys back then in my band, when i was tryin to b takin serious.

  • @greenpilgrim50 How right you are. A woman thinks their taste in men will differ over time but after seeing that big beautiful Bobby after all these years you know some things will always be so fine. He was so handsome, so dreamy....always will be.

  • I LOVED BOBBY SHERMAN!!!!! ;-)

  • Just a nice song/person who the whole family can enjoy :-)

  • @backintheday I thought he was a cop?

  • If you listen to the lyrics its about a person finding themelf again after adversity...very Buddhist.

  • @windstorm1000 who listens to the lyrics? i'm too busy trying to get my heart to stop racing, don't wanna end up in the e.r. , i'm too old for bobby now! lol so happy i found i still can smile and dig the show!!!

  • I can see why all the girls went crazy over Bobby.

  • I'm diggin it, too!

  • I'm diggin it.

  • I so remember Bobby Sherman!! I had posters from Go Set on my walls!! Loved those leather pants!!!!

  • still a HUNK !!!!!!!

  • Were these chicks the inspiration for the mannequins in Aerosmith's "Love in an Elevator"?

  • I love Bobby. And this song is great. I think his voice is really smooth. He's a lot better than what is out there now he can sing, he is nice to look at, and I love his thick hair. :D Teen Idols forever.

  • me and a girlfriend saw him live at Edgewater Park in 1970, girls were passing out and having to be removed from the crowd.

  • Bobby is so cute here I can hardly look at him

  • OH he's cute except for the hair!!

  • @littleyellowkite you gave Bobby Darin his very last blowjob in 1973 and he was totaly bald!

  • @berlits Thank you..your comments brought a huge smile to me face..so..so true.

  • good dance moves....so 70's groovy baby I dig it. POW ZAP BAM!

  • Never did like him and like him even less after reading Sal Mineo's bio. He was an opportunist and only a half assed singer. Sand schmaltz like this. Wasn't cool or hip but tried to be. A complete poser.

  • Bobby Sherman did something with his life later, became a paramedic/cop in LA.I saw him on the news a few times while living near LA years ago.

  • I had such a crush on this guy! I think he was on "Petticoat Junction" too.

  • @shadowmary1212 Here come the Brides I think

  • Good looking guy. Wish guys would wear their hair fashionably long again--its so much more manly than all these dweeby office short cuts.

  • I had and still have a big crush on Bobby Sherman :).....SO HANDSOME!!!!!

  • niiiice

  • hey easy come easy go :D

  • very groovy Bobby Sherman hit song!..music background is awesome! =0]

  • @evilsok OMG MY DAD SAID THE SAME THING!

  • "Stay tuned for Dark Shadows, next over most of these ABC stations".

  • @snowden67 Bobby Sherman used to get a blowjob from Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Fridd) twice a week. Not even Linda Lovelace could suck like Barnabus!

  • my mom said justin bieber is what bobby was back in the 70s

  • my mom said that she was obsessed with him back in the 70s, so i had to see what she obsessed over and i understand now

  • Great hair!

  • @TheGuillermo519 He looks like he's having fun.

  • oh my gosh...I remember watching this!!! He was such a cutie!! Back then we bought 16 magazine, took out the pics and taped them to the walls in our bedrooms. When my daughter did that..I nearly died. It reminded me of those days of my teens. Funny thing is ...this hairstyle comes and goes but it looks cute. The good days of all the cute guys, good music, and fun.

  • I loved him when i was a teenager. I wonder what ever happen to him? Oh well he still fine as ever. LOL I feel like a teen again.

  • Comment removed

  • I miss those days, I miss being a teenager with Bobby Sherman posters on my wall, I miss everything. I wish I could do it all over again, but I really miss Bobby Sherman singing, and being handsome, but he will be forever because of the person he is. I have always loved you Bobby.

  • almost saw his nip!>.lol

  • Back in the day, Bobby Sherman wowed us gals. The 70's was a ton of fun. Wish we could bring back this generation for just a bit, one more time.

  • This song is so 70s . . . the hair, the clothes, the dance steps . . . I love it!

  • @berlits send me a pm if u wanna help me kill all nigger scum 9/11 was an inside job

  • jesus, that's Mike Hugg -drummer from Manfred Mann in split second opening...fon't miss the Bobby Sherman section in new Sal Mineo bio--WOW!

  • @ratherfam Lucky Sal.

  • this is awesome my brother used to try to dance like bobby, where has the time gone

  • In 1970, my older sister (13) had a HUGE crush on Bobby Sherman.

  • Bobby Sherman also played more than a dozen different instruments. On some of his later singles like Waitin' At The Bus Stop, he did all of the instruments himself on that session.

  • Bobby gave up his career to become an EMT. You know, the first ones on the scene of a car wreck or some other catastrophy. How's that for being a winner. Bobby Sherman ...... One of the good guys.

  • @backintheday1 Last I heard, he was a motorcycle cop in California!

  • @backintheday1 Exactly, he built Main Street from Disney Land in his back yard for his kids. That's a great guy.

  • My favs by Bobby were Hey Mr Sun and Ode To Joy( on Ed Sullivan one Xmas).

  • Gayest pants ever.

  • I was in about 2nd grade at this time but I had older girl cousins who show me music back then. Plus they taped up my walls with the left over poster they couldn't fit on their walls!!! LOL

  • @JEDIALADDIN Up in Canada, (this had to be in the 1971-1972 school year) the folks at POST had six different Bobby Sherman 45rpm songs available INSIDE certain POST cereal boxes.Myself & my siblings would-eventually obtain five of the six available ones;but this song was not one of them.(PRESENTLY-though-I cannot recall what the sixth one was.)Nonetheless, myself & the others played those five songs a fair number of times (up to circa 1977).....

  • @cjjrtoronto You Canadians were lucky getting your records INSIDE the box. Our's were ONE SIDED and you had to CUT the 45 rpm style cardboard record out of the back of the box with scissors. We had to carefully bring the box of cereal home to make sure we did not nick it all up LOL....I think our records were on the back of boxes of SUGAR CRISP (Can't get enought of super Sugar Cristp!)

  • forget the teen idol stuff, Bobby has a fantastic singing voice !!!

  • it was this song is were i learn how to dance with girls.i was 14 when this song first came out.i was in school the girls were playing this.they were dancing with each other.us guys was to shy to dance with them .so i got up enough nerve and danced with one of the girls i knew.everyone was shocked ,thegirls were gigling like crazy. we had a "ball.."Lol =8^D

  • Oh yes, the decade of mini skirts. Yeah baby!!!

  • Hard to tell which is more lifelike: Bobby or the mannequins behind him.

  • Ah, he was one of my teen years "heartthrobs." :) I smile as I watch this; thanks for posting.

  • He must have used Prell Shampoo.

  • When I was about 6 years old this record was offered as a premium on the back of a box of Rasin Bran!

  • This is by far my fave Bobby Sherman song... He has some rather... ...prominent cheekbones...

  • Totally agree with you 1122jesse that was a great time to be young and alive! There were so many incredible bands and musicians with actual talent, as well as some incredible songs that still endure. I'm so tired of hearing the comparisons being made between today's "so-called" artists and the guys and gals who actually made it happen to begin with. There is no comparison, get over it! 'Nuf said!

  • I WANT TO VOMIT!

  • What a blast from the past. A great time in life in the 70s. Bobby Shermen, The Jackson 5 and so many more...It was great seeing this. Never thought I'd say oldies but goodies, but time flys bye. The leather pants was all part of it, thank u.

  • Bobby was pretty hot back in the 70s, and he was my teen idol. In fact, he still looks hot today. He made something out of his life, past the music career.

  • he looks a little like Zac Efron!

  • dude who is he???/ and y r people sayin justin biebers like him????????????

  • Comment removed

  • This is where Bieber and all the other kids these days got their hairstyle from.

  • ROTFL! Whatta DRIP! Love the Lizard King pants.

  • Boy if I could dance like this, I'd surely have it made.

And if I could fit into those leather pants.. well, let's be realistic.

    That ain't gonna happen.

  • he dances like a girl lol. I remember when he was plastered all over Tiger Beat Magazine.

  • what was the name of the song at the beginning

  • ha ha, omg, the memories, look at that little swagger

  • I like. He was awesome
