the game is Zoo Tycoon 2, and as the name states, you make zoos. but people also make it for stories, like this one. its really free form, so you aren't limited to zoos.

Do you have African Adventure? The only games I don`t have for it is Extinct Animals and Dino Danger pack or something like that. But they don`t make DD any more..... it only came with 4 animals or something!
