Whoever says this sounds better needs to get their damn ears checked. I have always been a fan of Jane Child's song and since remakes are either hit or miss, some people should just leave them alone if they can't do justice to them.

at least the music is almost identical, the sound of the synths is what I fell in love with and then Jane's voice. Loved her unique look, too. She wasn't trying to look like anyone else. I like how someone called her a female Prince, she's that bad! I hate I can't find the original video, just a bunch of remixes with still photos.

Jane Child's version is wayyyyyy better.. When Jane Child sung this song, she sung this song with so much emotion and feeling. This Kimberly chick sung this song with no emotion. It sounds so flat and plain. My opinion is if you're gonna remake the song, make it better than the original or sing it just as good as Jane Child's version....

I agree that the music sounds kinda like a cheesey karaoke version but it is true to the radio version of the original Jane Child song. There are a bunch of remixed versions of the original song on youtube but this music has the energy of the original release. Too bad this lil singer sounds mousey.

LOL It sounds that way because it is a cover of an early 90's song by the same name; the original is by Jane Child (a song that I still love! Check it out :)). I'm still not convinced this PC has a voice though; there is too much use of autotune in this song.

I'd have to disagree with the total true fan having to like everything. Being supportive is fine, but to automatically call all the songs good is narrow-minded. Is this song horrible? Nope. I like the Jane Child version better for one main reason, though. While the arrangement is very similar, the true difference is in the voices, and Kim's sounds a little thin here. Is my voice great? No, but I'm not trying to make a living with it. Jane Child's voice was so much stronger on her version.
