In my opinion the 1st anime series was good, 2nd series was crap. This series could've been so much better if they gave it a 'naruto' treatment and actually adapted the full story from the manga, then alot season 2 could've just been some annoyying filler.

God the fight with the Kuyo sucked, it made no sense how come Moka suddenly manages to win. The mangas version was miles better, Tsukune enters a demi-Vampire form after the blood transfer, wherein the shocked Kuyo freezes for a sec in confusion, Moka pins his arms down, and Tsukune just headbutted him in the face full force, K.O him with one almighty blow (This also meant that there was (fake) proof he wasn't human since Kuyo could see his Vampiric state)

Yeah, the anime is pretty sad compared to the manga. It focuses entirely too much fanservice(and I love fanservice as much as the next guy but it's beyond ridiculous), the action is reduced, the plots (such as the takeover of the school) and the character/power development of the girl's is nowhere to be seen. Since Japan seems to be in the mood for remakes for the past few years, I hope they redo Rosario Vampire so that it lives up the manga.

I hope so too lol, the only thing is that R+V isn't finished yet, and wont be for a while. I suppose season 1 is done, but I dunno if you have read the second season of it, if you have, do you know whats up with the Holy Lock? I can't tell if Tsukune has learnt to bypass it or if its still taking damage when he transforms, I woulda thought hes bypassing it, seeing as how his vampire form is now shown in joke parts too, but i'm not sure.
