  • Hi Monica, I have never made my own pasta before and I will be making it for the first time using your method!:) Can you pls tell me if '00' flour work just as well using this method? You should also do a follow up video on how to store the pasta if it's for later use:)

  • How long did you cook the pasta?

  • @glossonro Fresh pasta cooks lightning fast. When it comes right off the machine it cooks in about 3 minutes. Even when you freeze it, do NOT thaw it -- take it right from the freezer into the boiling water and it's still done in three or four minutes. If it's a stuffed pasta such as a ravioli, typically it's done when it floats. Don't overcook it or it will fall apart. Good luck it's fun and easy!

  • The final setting is either eight or nine. Usually eight -- nine is VERY thin and typically too delicate.

  • what was the final setting for thickness?

  • That looks like Nicro Pluramelt cookware. Is it?

  • @ticket88 Nope. I don't own any really good cookware. I don't know the brand name of the pans in the video, but neither of them are anything good or expensive. :o)
