  • do you have the borla catback or just axlebacks

  • @nascar2w I just had the Borla axlebacks. I have since changed to Pypes mid mufflers because they don't trumpet as much with my long tube headers.

  • Looks and sounds awesome! Very nice man.

  • how is the drone with the stingers?

  • Not too bad. Around 1500-1800 rpm it drones, but I have my windows down and the music up most of the time, so its not bad. I have 4.10 gears, so I don't see that rpm range very much either, which helps a lot. I really like the stingers, but the drone is a very slight downside.

  • a o/r mid pipe should take care of that.

  • I have since replaced the entire exhaust with a set of American Racing Headers long tube headers, O/R X, and Pypes mid-mufflers (M-80s). It sounds pretty good IMO.

  • You took off your borla for pypes? ouch

  • Well I have these Borlas with an off road X and it drones at about 2500 and then again at 4500 but the sound is awesome and worth the extra noise...who wants a quiet mustang? Thats what Fusions are for lol

  • Nice mustang! I have the frpp stingers, put them on about 7 months ago and the sound just gets better everyday.

Im hoping to get the sequentials for mine soon. Ive been itching to get them but i just saw another stang a few weeks ago and i have to have them NOW lol.

Which company did you go with?

  • I bought them from American Muscle. They are manufactured by WebElectric.

  • did u have a good experience with American muscle?

  • Yes. They have great customer service, and they ship for free with it arriving in a few days. I bought by shorty antenna and H&R Race Springs from them as well. Also, in a few months, I will be buying some Tokico D-Specs shocks/srtuts from them.

  • I also bought my SCT-X3 tuner from them. Again, all free shipping and arriving in a few days of order placement.

  • @jaspercasidino can the race springs be used with stock shocks? if so, how does it works? if not, what other components did you use?

  • @FordsBetter516 You can use the stock shocks with the race springs, but I would not recommend it. The race springs have a high stiffness, and driving with the stock shocks gives a very rough ride. After a little bit of using the stock shocks, I bought a set of Koni yellows and my ride quality greatly improved.

  • @jaspercasidino how much would all of that run?

  • @FordsBetter516 Around $750-800 for the shocks/struts and around $250 for the springs.

  • @jaspercasidino not bad! might do what you did and get the springs first...then in time upgrade to the shocks etc.

  • are the tail lights worth it?

  • They were cool at first, but after a little while you forget that they are there. But the exhaust was worth it. You hear it all the time. :)

  • Thanks man! I love them!!!

  • nice man! borla's sound sick.
