There we go I just said it a couple of months ago and Etihad Airways were declared the best airline in the world just when they completed 6 years in service.

When the midfield terminal will open, Abu Dhabi will be really ready to compete effectivly with Dubai! This should be interesting :)

Etihad may very soon be one of the best airlines in the world as they are already giving the best of the best a run for their money, they have world class service provided which cannot be compared to other airlines. European airlines are no match to Etihad. They seem to be far ahead of the race with their "Inspired Service" program

@yunaas101 Etihad Airways does not need to compete with anyone I am just saying that they are leagues apart and are better than the best out there. People do not know much about Etihad Airways right now but give it until a 2 more years and then see the difference. Emirates has been in this for almost 25+ years now

Abu dhabi airport is really nice, there are many smoke rooms ( manchester has none) Really good and very cheap duty free, have a beer at the piano bar. Just remember the terminal is small but the gate can be a bit of a hike. My trip to Bangkok with Etihad was excellent, and this small but charming airport ( and the lovely fillipino staff) was great.

According to me it was absolutely good and very nice i liked it so much in etihad

I went to India this year in etihad

and stopped in abu dhabi

i absolutely loved every bit of it

even the airport of abu dhabi very nice inside

but quite small i wonder how it will be when its big :)
