Champion Bridgeport H.S. Cheerleading Squad

Not to get into an argument but, i work for varsity and AACCA and fulls have been illegal on hard wood for high school teams for about 10 years now. About 4 years ago they outlawed them for college as well along with basket tosses, coed one armed stunts (amended to must have a spotter for one arm stunts 2010) and any kind of spining dismount where the top girl is fully released i.e. full downs or double downs.

@SigEp741 not to get into it but you obviously dont know what your talking about because fulls have been allowed in West Virginia since cheerleading started and i have been to college basketball games and they do full twists all the time and basket tosses, college teams dont compete on hardwood anyway. Up until the 2011 season, full twists were not illegal, but now they are for saftey reasons.

For the record, I am in no way connected to Bridgeport. They're incredible! THAT is MY opinion....it's not a fact. Just as Brooke being ten times better....is an opinion....not a fact. I do think Brooke is amazing, but I can't agree that they're 10 times better. They are just as good....Brooke has more difficulty due to tumbling...but that's the biggest difference. Anyway, not meaning to sound negative....Just wanted to share my "opinion". BHS has been my favorite for YEARS!

For HS, some of these stunts are illegal. Guess your state doesn't follow any rules, regulations or guidelines

This wasn't a compeition. It was a halftime routine. This school does follow the rules, regulations, and guidelines when in competition. If you want to see a school that doesn't follow guidelines search " tolsia cheerleading 09". They got the whole AA state compeition delayed because they threw an illegal stunt.

umm..bridgeport didnt win this year or last year in AAA...but Lincoln did in AA both 05-06 and 06-07 school years..so they are the repeat champs not Bridgeport

I'm from KY, but I didn't know WV had cheerleaders that good! no offense...one of my best friends transferred form Matewan to my school and she's awesome! She cheered for River Cities All Stars and the high school.
