I like the way this video as able to work a sense of the actual games into its story-- not all of these videos do that. By taking some of the shooting game into its touching little story, it lends some of its touching story into the shooting game.

It's basically, a shoot em up where girls shoot each other for various reasons (e.g., for fun, because they are hungry, or because they are THERE). The background story is different for each game, but basically it's always based on some (very lighthearted version) of japanese (and various other) myths.

However, Patchouli surprisingly doesn't seem to mind. Fans took this to mean she lets Marisa "borrow" her books as an excuse to get to hang out with her.

Touhou is a game series, mostly containing Danmaku/Shoot 'em ups but also have fighting games. xP There's a fanime, but ZUN stopped it after the first episode because he didn't want the series to be remembered as an anime.

This is a remix/vocal/arrange or whatever you'd call it of Patchouli's theme, Locked Girl ~ The Girl's Secret Room.

It would've been nice to see where it went and all.
