Early church leaders said that as Native Americans joined the church and became righteous they would become fair skinned. This is also in the BoM where they are called "white and delightsome" recently changed (without revelation) to "fair and delightsome" because it's less offensive. Mormons still believe in Lamanites - still racist.

If you look at Philipino people, they look very similar to Native Americans, and also Polynesians who trace their DNA to SE Asia also, but not via Nth America. I've heard the argument from the book of revelation you quoted, however that same quote was written by several other prophets throughout the bible. Mormons interpret that quote when ever it's mentioned in the bible as no one should change or add to that particular prophets words, otherwise if you take the literal saying than much of the bible cannot be true. You're also talking to young Men who are just starting their spiritual journey.

Early church leaders said that as Native Americans joined the church and became righteous they would become fair skinned. This is also in the BoM where they are called "white and delightsome" recently changed (without revelation) to "fair and delightsome" because it's less offensive. Mormons still believe in Lamanites - still racist.

@SammyHales They only arrived 10-12k years ago, so they would still resemble populations where they left. NE Asians are almost white skinned with very narrow eyes. If you look at Philipino people, they look very similar to Native Americans, and also Polynesians who trace their DNA to SE Asia also, but not via Nth America. None of them have DNA from the Middle East, which is another blow to the BoM. I don';t believe the first humans were a couple who popped into existence in Eden.

I've heard the argument from the book of revelation you quoted, however that same quote was written by several other prophets throughout the bible. Mormons interpret that quote when ever it's mentioned in the bible as no one should change or add to that particular prophets words, otherwise if you take the literal saying than much of the bible cannot be true. You're also talking to young Men who are just starting their spiritual journey.

The prophet Isaiah foresaw Joseph Smith’s work and even wrote of conversations Joseph’s associates would have regarding the translation of the Book of Mormon. Much of the prophecy in Isaiah 29 has reference to the coming forth of the Book of Mormon.

Good Luck ,personally you would be better serving in our military forces where we need more young men..
Study your scriptures well ,not just what they tell you to memorize or you will come off looking like a buffoon like those 2 missionaries in the video clip.
