I should also say, thankyou for making this video! We need better public service announcements here in the US in regards to seat belt safety. The ones in the UK and Australia are much more effective and get the point across a lot better.
What ticks me off is that federal law still has certain tests that new cars must pass for keeping UNBELTED occupants safe in crashes! Seatbelts laws exist in 49 states. Auto manufacturers shouldn't be designing cars to keep people safe who obviously don't care about safety. People need to realize that all the safety systems in your car (ie airbags, curtain airbags, rollover sensors, etc.) depend on you wearing your seatbelt!!!
have u tht wht u do to other people if u dont take care on the roads....
the person in the Black SUV.... he will never forget it all his life... if the guy had some life in him it wud have been taken by the guy in the SUV... i wud kill myself if i was the guy in SUV... too much!!!
Not in this case. That guy was fleeing from police. I wish the rest of the vid was there, but this was a chase that happened years ago here in Atlanta after a failed bank robbery. Its a good thing no one else was hurt.
Ok not a happy video, but hey, when you get behind the wheel and treat an SUV like a toy with innocent people around you, you get what you get.
Maybe if he hadn't crashed, he could have turned his life around, so I shouldn't say that it is good that he is dead, but I get very angry when people on the road disregard my safety. That guy was asking for what he got, as are a large percentage of people driving on the interstates in Raleigh. The SEATBELT wasn't his problem. It was reckless driving.
What's the problem? The asshole tried to pass an innocent motorist on the shoulder, was speeding like a sociopathical anarchist, endangered dozens of innocent people, and he bit the dust. Now he can't hurt anyone else. This is a happy video.
Insurance companies who choose to charge higher premiums to those who fail to buckle-up is a much more reasonable approach to persuade drivers to use seat-belts than an invasive law.
Wearing seat-belts is a good idea but a law requiring the wearing of one is not. It is invasive and provides police another way to detain any citizen, for any reason, anywhere at any time. The Federal government extorts states to go along with mandatory legislation in order to receive federal highway funds. Your life belongs to you not your government.
So if I read the published police report correctly the 27 year old driver of the red Lincoln Navigator attempted to pass a bad check at a liquor store sometime earlier. The liquor store employee called the police who pursued the vehicle and pulled it over but as the officer approached the SUV, the driver sped away, slightly striking the officer in the process. In this case, justice done! Wearing seat-belts is a good idea but a law requiring the wearing of one is not.
this is definately not funny at all. it could be you in that situation and there are many distractions that can cause it.

If this person died (wich seems very logical to me) isn't it a bit unrespectful to show this video?

He's lucky as hell that he's dead because if he clipped me or my family like that, I'd have shot him from the knees up until he was dead.
