@Triangulove Yes it is the wifi version- I know so many more kindle versions have come out since I did this review! It has held up great the past year. There is a little crack in the plastic because I dropped it, but everything still works great. I also traveled to Europe with it and it held up well. I still love my kindle!
How can you use the Internet to create a special place?
“You should click this” because this video shows what one person can do to say, “Thank you.” Listen to what she says about how her husband’s gift changed her opinion about ebooks and ebook readers.
She took INITIATIVE to create her website and this review on Youtube.

I am getting this tomorrow hopefully it will get me into reading more cause I know I love reading off the internet so much better cuz u dont have to worry about flipping the pages etc lol thanks for the review
@TheDailyConnoisseur Thanks I got it not able to Register it or use it yet =( cause I don't have wifi in my apt but I can go anywhere that has wifi to do that but they should say before purchasing buy a wireless router smh! lol but its soo nice it looks so real like a real book. Hopefully I will be started up soon I ordered books on my Amazon account but I can only read on my comp not on the Kindle yet! =/
I buy my favs to put on my bookshelf too and get them on Kindle to read! I love my Kindle but I believe hard copied books will always be around. I hope so!
My story is the same. I resisted an ereader for the longest time but the collection of books read once just overwhelms me. My husband bought a Nook for me and I love it. Like you I still purchase certain books for my library but for every day fiction my Nook is how I read. Also, I like the idea of having all the books I'm reading in one spot since I often have more than one going at a time.
I find your blog and now this channel very enjoyable. Thank you for taking the time to do it.
Two books a week? You're a fast reader! I have the Kindle app on my iPad and I love it. I also didn't think I'd like an ereader but I've adapted quite well. I like being able to read in bed when it's dark and not wake anyone up.-Merveilleux
@digitalteacup I don't necessarily read fast but I do read a lot. I definitely read more than I watch TV and now that I have a kindle I read more than I did before I had one. Sometimes I'm out of the house for the day and panic if I don't bring it with me haha. Hope you're well x
I have a kindle too and I love it. I was resistant for a long time because I loved the feel and even the smell haha of actual books and the experience of browsing in a bookstore, but my collection was overwhelming me and since I only read a book once(other than reference books) I caved and got the kindle. I donated all of my physical books to the public library and I haven't looked back. I only wish we were able to 'check out' books on the kindle especially for readers like me who only read once
@lilacs1986 Isn't it great? The other day I was walking by some school kids and saw them carrying really heavy textbooks and I started to wonder when school children will have e-readers so they don't have to lug those heavy books around! I think one day everyone will have one... I know what you mean about not having the feel and smell of a real book. I had that concern too. I just purchase the books that mean a lot to me by authors I collect x
Is this the wifi version? May I ask how it has held up over the past year?
