hey jamster. I started with the frame,welded a rectangular frame of old square metal, then chopped up some old bikes, and welded them onto the frame. Welded a frame for a chair, and a couple screws through it into steel. THen put 4 bearings on, 2 under seat, 2 where pedal wheel is. Made a pedal whell copletely out of wood, 2 circular disks and square 5 pieces of wood screwed every 72degrees. welded some cogs onto the steel bars. The rudder was pretty straight forward
